Music too loud. Pino colarda was nothing like the true recipe. The waitresses was new and hard to under stand, but she will get better. The ambience was good.the food was very generous. My meals was just warm and not hot. Mexican food just ok.

the 'birria tacos' came out fried and with a salsa sauce, which is not what we ordered, wanted or paid for. Additionally my friends naco's had probably 10 corn chips in it, maximum. I understand it was big night for the 5 dollar taco's and the amount we ordered but the service was very unorganised. We were told that our chicken tacos were beef and vice versa, also my friend had to search through the plates to find the pork ones as we were not told where they were. Finally, when checking out, they asked for our table number and when we said we didn't know they sent my friend up to the second floor to check for herself. However, the waitress was lovely as did her best in a stressful situation.

Overall good experience - a little funky in style and food was good.

Was told that only have 1 hour to eat due to taco special night but took over 30mins for food to come

A Mexican themed atmosphere with beautiful characteristic decor and not to mention the beautiful lively ambience. Our second time at Hecho En Mexico and definitely one of our favourites. The food is delicious and the cocktails 🍸 are amazing. You will not be disappointed by the extensive menu. Thank you to the lovely staff that make the experience even more special. Good Mexican food serve by friendly staff. The restaurant is right across the road from the movie cinema, which made it ideal for a post movie meal. Did I mention the margaritas are excellent?

I had the steak fajita. Flavors were great and very enjoyable, but the steak pieces were overcooked and rubbery, chewing was difficult as a consequence. My partner had a Quisadella, no complaints.

Was given a terrible table and asked for better but was refused. Loud music playing which was not even mexican. Will never go back.

Service has been way down since I last visited. Food dropped on the table, and they never asked if everything was OK...There was not enough cutlery or napkins. I had to go and find cups for the water bottle, which was on the table (it was there before we arrived) The food is good, but I would stay away from the brownie - it was served in burned chocolate (unless you like burned chocolate)

Not impressed with this restaurant. Food was delicious, a bit spicier then we imagined (as we didn’t get asked what spice level we wanted). Service was poor, had so many different people serve us, there was no organisation. Our mains came out before our entree which was disappointing. They forgot the guac on our dish and no one asked us if we would like another drink. Don’t think I will be returning!!

I really enjoyed the food, credit to the kitchen staff. Unfortunately the experience was let down by the service. Service staff don’t want to know you at all unless you physically bail them up and i didn’t see a smile from any of them. Really took the gloss off what would be a great restaurant.

What a great experience! Loved everything about this place but above all the food is fantastic.

The food was not great. Ordered the fajitas and the sides were all clumped together. The meat was swimming in liquid. Felt like staff were trying to move us on quickly. The bill had a card surcharge and there was an assumption was that I would pay by card. Overall experience was not a good one. Won’t be going back there again.

This place was fantastic last time we visited a couple of years ago. Since then the staff have changed. This time the service was horrible. Portions and ingredients were inconsistent. We left early and will never return.

We like Hencho for a quick meal before the movies, it's reliably good. The jug of margarita was not good value for money compared to single glasses

This was a great restaurant when it first opened, but it’s getting worse every time we come. The staff are too young and have NO attention to detail. Don’t think we’ll bother coming back as there are plenty of other good restaurants very close by.

Was pretty disappointed with everything. The food and drink has certainly gone down hill over the years. Everything we ordered was below average. I have been coming here for years, but after this last experience I won't be going back.
