Great food and more authentically Mexican than others who dive off more into the realm of Tex-Mex. It was very noisy - the place might benefit from some soft furnishings to help with that. The brightly lit signs on the interior walls just at eye-line height were distracting and a bit eye-watering. The service staff were good and well-organised, although two different servers tried to take our order. Still food arrived fairly rapidly, and each of the courses arrived at the same time. No-one was left glumly waiting while the others ate. Should I praise this? I seems more like a baseline of mere competence. The menu is quite diverse with Meat (I mean, what is Mexican cuisine without meat?), Vegetarian and Vegan options. Take care, once you have ordered a couple of entrees, mains and a single dessert, costs mount up rapidly - especially if you are ordering drinks. One thing that I don't enjoy in modern dining is that the bill doesn't arrive in a little folder anymore so you an - if you like - leave a tip. Instead you are exposed to the moral hazard of having to choose what percentage of the bill to leave as a tip under the eye of the cashier. Don't like that at all.

My kids wanted to try Mexican and this was the perfect place to try for a first time. No pretentious fission or ‘hipster’ stuff just straight up beans, corn chips and guacamole! Menu has a good range and so does the drinks menu

A solid choice. The food was good, the service excellent. They let us bring a cake with no charge and also provided a free shot as it was my birthday. The service was excellent and they let us stay as long as we wanted.

The food was overpriced, bland soggy, tasteless. The kids Quesadilla was a soggy tortilla with one strand of cheese in it. Tacos had nonexistent filling too, no flavour. Enchiladas were a soggy watery mess. Service was lovely, but it’s unbelievable that this place thinks the above is worth over $100

Brilliant Mexican restaurant in Thornbury. Food is absolutely delicious. Cocktails are tasty and pack a punch. Very affordable and the vibe was amazing. It was really busy and lots of fun. The only issue I had was having to wait ages to use a toilet. Only two unisex toilets. Some people don't have an issue with this. I do! Other than that a great place. Taquitos are THE BEST!!!

2 time we have visited since opening First time, all our drinks were completely forgotten. This time 2 of the party of 4 did not receive ordered meals - even after letting staff know we had not received all meals, the food still did not appear Really wanted to support this new business but things seem somewhat shambolic

Wonderful food, great service, but the tables for two are pretty small so with a few dishes to share, and hunching over to hear each other, wasn't the most comfortable dining experience.
