Great place for a catch up with a few people. Very accomodating

The music playing through the speakers, before the band started, was a little TOO loud. Literally had to yell to the person sitting across the table.

Fantastic, fun atmosphere at the Hofbrauhaus in Melbourne! Great traditional Bavarian food, (just need a few more vegetarian main options), fabulous German beers (have to try the passionfruit beer - trust me on this), a paddle of schnapps shots, and an oompah band all made for a terrific night. Service was very good to begin, but we had a bit of a wait to order more drinks and dessert, as a very large group of twenty plus turned up without a reservation, so staff were strapped at that point. When the waitress did get to us she was very apologetic, which we said was okay, we understood they weren't expecting that group, and our orders were taken and delivered promptly.

A bit of a wait for the food to be served, but great atmosphere created by the live band! Highly recommend getting a table when the live band is scheduled to play! Food was tasty, and portion was big suitable for sharing!

The noise was extremely loud and can’t hear my husband talking to me. Waitresses were nice but sat for a while trying to get there attention to order our food, when the food came it was delicious, then waited again trying to get the attention of the waitress so we could order dessert, dessert came out and it was priced at $15.50 was not worth it.

Portion size of special (beef stew) was a bit small in comparison to the Schnitzel my colleagues got.
