Wasn't the best I have ever had, but certainly not the worst. It took a while to get my first drink despite not being busy. I purchased the rib eye which I was told to get medium instead of medium-rare; I should have gone with my original plan. Ironically my wife's eye of rump was nice, tender, thick and bloody- how a steak should be. The rump seems like the pick of the steaks despite being the least expensive. The fried squid starter was succulent and juicy. Portion sizes seem a little on the small side given the money spent. I left feeling hungry when for the price of four meals, a starter and drinks, I should have left feeling full. The decor and atmosphere was on point.

This was the second time in two weeks and the first visit was amazing we ordered the Kangaroo dish and the jus was thick and full or flavor the meet was cooked perfect. Last night the meat not cooked like last time the jus was runny and didn't have any flavor at all. We both leave very disappointed and wishing we had ordered something different so we could leave with the first impression. Thanks

Lovely leisurely meal with dear friends. Food was very nice indeed, with many pleasant surprises. It was a bit difficult to predict how much vegetable material would actually arrive as part of the dish we ordered. During a previous luncheon there the vegetable side seemed a bit light. The portions of dessert were varying in size. And the Apple Pie needed more ice-cream! That all sounds quite critical, but we did enjoy the food a great deal.

The food and friendly service were amazing!! will def be going back again. I was’nt aware they had seating upstairs though which is where our table was, we had my partners elderly parents with us so next time I book I’ll make sure to ask for a table downstairs.

Excellent service . Delicious food! Couldn’t fault anything about the experience. This was for my mums birthday, and we ended up moving downstairs to the private room!

Food is great and very filling. Menu choices are great too. I'd suggest eating everything except the chips as they are so filling. Will return.

Food was awesome!!! Service was good and very busy restaurant but was understaffed on a Monday night. Overall we had a great dining experience and will definitely go back again for sure!!!

Visited for dinner last night and had the king’s feast. The platter came with roast chicken, lamb shoulder, rump steak and pork ribs. Sides were chips, cabbage salad, garden salad and flatbread. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Service was also friendly and quick.

This is a fantastic restrauant with a great atmospere, friendly staff, great service and wonderful food. We had a lovely expenence celebrating our birthday and looking forward to a return visit.
