Quick simple and easy. I love dumplings always have delicious food for a good price. Three of us are our full and had a bottle of wine for $30 a head.

Great tasting food. Extensive menu. friendly and efficient service. The restaurant can get very noisy when there is a full house. Great overall dining experience.

This place always has great tasting and fresh food along with fast service. There are lots of options for vegetarians which is a huge plus.

A local favorite that never lets me down! Calamari is a must as well as the pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings and xiao long bao ! Fantastic value.

The food here is authentic and full of flavour. The only 4 complaints I have. 1. Couldn't grant me a requested table when I booked. 2. Chairs are big and cumbersome and are awkward to eat out of. 3. The only green dish, Beans arrived last and late. 4. Water glasses came warm from the dish washer but did provide me ice when requested.

Great food quick service. Great prices. The staff could be a bit more attentive but you expect this service anyway. I Highly recommend going here

Busy lunchtime on a Thursday at 12:45pm and they didn't have any dumplings except for seafood or chicken and prawn. Pretty poor for a dumpling shop!

Food always delicious, good price. Atmosphere can be quite noisy, but when the place is booked out every night you can understand why!

The food was very very good everyone loved this scored high. However, the service staff need to lift their game. Do they get penalty rates? They did not smile, the table was not cleared regularly, they lack attention to our table of 7. We had to ask for tea to be topped up. We felt ignored, One of the service staff started to empty some dishes behind the bar area she was so loud we could not hear ourselves speak. I had to ask her to be quieter. We were a group of 7 mature women I had booked for 8, I asked if the last table could be removed so we could be seated closer and one person sitting at the end of the long table could not hear. This could have been accommodated by the staff as the restaurant with easy but they refused, given we were the only ones at that end this should not have been a problem. A very disappointing experience expect the good food made up for this. Regards

I love this place and the food. Very hustle bustle, but 90 min allocation on Friday night is not long enough, would prefer 2 hours

The food was very quick to arrive after the order. The staff were very friendly and quick to bring wine glasses for our BYO. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

The food is very tasty and very cost effective but the service is poor. We go here often but we go for the cheap food. Not the service!

Super busy and service was quite poor. We were seated upstairs and it was hard to get a waiters attention. Food was average which was a shock and there were hairs in the stirfry. Not impressed and probably won't be back for a while.

Always good! A great cheap meal and never been disappointed with the dumplings. There where 6 of use and we left extremely full and only cost us $15 each. Well worth going in

Really good food and nice staff. However was a bit unlucky to be sat right next to two big tables which were part of a function, they were very loud and was hard to hear anything we were saying.

My fav dumplings in Melbourne. The seafood ones. Are to die for! You also must try the fried eggplant. I dream about my dinners here 🤤

Amazing, food, fast service and great atmospher, you can bring your own wine! It is really important to book in advance though, because if you don't you will end up waiting a while. Best dumplings in Melbourne though

Dumplings here are always very good. I regularly visit here for a cheap, filling dinner prior to going to a sporting event. Service was quick.

The service was quite poor, we were placed upstairs and it was freezing, we asked if they could put the heating on and it seemed a big ask. Our waiter was not very attentitive to our table we were always having to call him over. When we got served our initial dishes of dumplings and had to ask several times for little bowls to place our soy sauce in and contstantly call our waiter over for more drinks/food etc.

We had a booking at 9pm on Saturday night. When we arrived they said they close at 10pm. Would have been better if this was highlighted on booking. Let me assure you when they say 10 they mean staff out the door by 10 latest. Kitchen stopped just after 930pm and credit card payment had to be made by 955pm. Don't take 9pm bookings if this is usual 'service'!!

Food was delicious. Of course the dumplings were a standout. Hard to get someone to serve us though!! Only 2 wait staff for a full restaurant.

The food at I Love Dumplings is great and reasonably priced. The booking confirmation was a little tricky and the service is a challenging at times. I return because the food is good and if you expect the service to be a little off and have patience, it's a great night. BYO is a bonus too.

Eggplant carrot and coriander dish so so delicious, vegetarian dumplings only about a 6/10 but atmosphere and friendliness of the staff made up for it!

Love this place, Eggplant with chilli and lemongrass is a must! I have it everytime! Super quick service and cheap! Love the pan fried pork dumplings too.

Have been here numerous times and food always great. Unfortunately this night was lacking,waited too long for 1 persons food way after ours had all arrived quality not as good as previous... busy night clearly.

Excellent. Returning customer from 2024, still the best dumplings I've had, pork and beef were a welcome addition to the menu, and the service was amazing.

Fast service, great food and very reasonably priced. We have always had a great experience here and will most definitely be back again very soon.

It was fantastic. Great for kids! Staff are friendly & accomodating. The kids lived the dumplings & the special icecream dessert! A great place for a child's birthday celebration!

I love this restaurant so much. Everything is just perfect. The menu is well priced. My favourite are the soup dumplings and beans with mince and chilli.

Great food. Good service. Would prefer that not all food ordered come out at the same time. Entees first mains later, not enough room on the tables.
