Ishikiya Japanese Restaurant

Food was very good. As always. Service was under pressure due to staff member not showing. Still our order and time of serving all OK. We didn’t enjoy one of the patrons coughing loudly over a two hour period.

The food is excellent. We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed.

The place was packed by 7:30, but despite this the food came quickly. The sashimi is always fresh and plentiful. I have never been disappointed when I visited Ishikiya

finally got to eat in this restaurant and it was ok. Staff are welcoming. Food is alright.

A child at next table was so loud and made constant "Bang Bang " noise by hitting something. No restaurant fault but I wish the manager could tell the parents the noise the child made disturbed other customers.

Food was really good. Some of our order was forgotten, but the issue was fixed pretty quick

We met friends here that we hadn't seen for years. First time here and it was GREAT. Beautiful atmosphere, food was great, not expensive. A really enjoyable relaxing meal and all round experience. Great ambiance,staff were patient and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone. 110%

Beautiful friendly restaurant and food was fresh and tasty 😁 highly recommend, would definitely come back again for dinner! Recommend byod if you want wine as they only sell by the bottle and a little pricey, but all in all great experience.

The restaurant has good service and their food are fresh and delicious. One of the best meals we ever had. Locate in shopping mall and carpark is free.

Excellent service, easy to book, food was delicious and they were more than happy to accomodate a toddler. I would highly recommend them and will go again

The environment is cosy and we have ordered curry udon and tempura udon. Amazingly the bowl keeps the temperature and we are happy with even it was after 10-20 mins and the soup is still warm. Overall, the dishes are quite nice but a little bit salty.

Another great meal at Ishikaya this Mothers' Day. At the moment we can't get past the Superior Beef Bentoo although we have tried other dishes in the past. The Genmaicha is just beautiful as was the miso. Our friends and family all enjoy the authentic food.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere, delightful friendly staff with beautiful presentation. We are definitely going back again at some point soon to try more scrumptious dishes. Cannot praise this establishment enough, by far the most authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine we have ever had!

Always get amazing service here by not only the staff but the owner too! Beautiful little restaurant that always goes out of their way to give the best service possible!! Ishikiya will always be my top restaurant go to in Perth :)

Beautiful food, impeccable service. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. A real Japanese restaurant gem. Licensed as well, with very reasonably priced beverages to match any dish you choose. Highly recommend Ishikiya.

It took over an hour & 20mins to get our main meals - katsu bento + shashimi - the beef tataki was terrible! Especially for $19. We have eaten here several times and every other experience was good, but this last visit left a bad taste in our mouths

I love this place as the food is ridiculously tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced. The staff are also very friendly :) Definitely worth a visit.

Noisy environment and ordinary service for average food. More of a food court or cafeteria experience. Okay for a casual lunch, but not for a dinner date.

The restaurant is always clean and the staff are all very pleasant, they are efficient & friendly. The food is divine we enjoy it so much we try to go regularly.

My huge craving for sashimi was satisfied, with a mixed sashimi plate. It was absolutely delicious! The first time I'd been, in fact I was pleasantly surprised to find a Japanese restaurant in Midland. I think it will become my favourite local restaurant. Staff were extremely polite and attentive. The company- as always a delight!

This was the third time I've been to this restaurant and the food has been excellent every time. We had a party of 10 with several small children and the staff were excellent at catering to the our needs. Definitely be heading back there again.

Bit if a mixed bag Conveniently located, clean and pleasant. Service smiling but very slow. Food ...overall disappointing (eg uninspired salad; cheap (mass produced?) sushi in my moderately-expensive bento box) , although the salmon i had was to die for. Sake excellent.

Quality of food and service was good. However, the food selection was very limited. The quantity was also barely sufficient. My salad came without sauce and when I asked for some sauce, I was charged for it.

Fantastic food and great service. The mixed sashimi plate was divine, so tasty and super fresh. We will definitely be coming back again and again.
