Friendly staff but the Salad Bowl was terrible. Over priced. Small. And wasn’t in a bowl. The location is perfect and it was clean and nice.

We are regulars at the Ivanhoe, we go every Tuesday for trivia. The trivia host, Evan, is great and it’s never the same when he’s not there! We don’t always eat, this time we did, the pizzas are great.

Love the Ivanhoe, I’ve been coming here for three years for trivia. The queue at the bar can be a bit frustrating when you’re trying to get back to your table, but the food is solid and always good quality.

We are locals who have often enjoyed a meal at the Ivanhoe, but we were so disappointed with our visit last evening that we left without eating there! We didn’t get a tableon the balcony as requested, butunderstood it was booked out for someone’s birthday. The alternative was a run-downroom with unstable tables and crappy chairs. The menu had completely changed and the selection was terrible. We won’t be going again.

Tuesday trivia and came second. Lots of fun, nobody ate this time so can't comment on food.

We love coming here on a Tuesday for trivia. It would be really good if there could be a Tuesday special on wine as well as beer. I think more people would buy a bottle if there was a special option each week.

Food was good, a bit slow to come out. Soda water and lime at $5.30!

Booked ahead online for verandah, confirmed by phone with staff prior to arrival. No verandah seating! Signature dish we ordered was off the menu One dish did not arrive at all - had to be cancelled Service of food was not synchronised

No snack plate a available at 12.30pm Vege curry had no sweet potato no cauliflower no samosa only chickpeas and rice! Barramundi meal served cold. No pineapple juice. Only one Xmas decoration in upstairs area - not very christmasy

Food was very good value and service great. Very noisy unable to speak or hear after 7.30 but would come back again.

Food and drinks were good, but the atmosphere now on a Sunday eve was awful. Bright lights, gym music blasting! What happened to the live music? Don’t think we’ll be back in a hurry!

Very disappointing service. In our group 2 meals were not delivered. There was no checking by the wait staff when the meals failed to show. I would not order food here again.

Another great evening at the Ivanhoe trivia. Thoroughly recommend this for anybody who wants a challenging trivia with a good vibe, and the opportunity for good food and drink with your mates.

For the first time in awhile, the food wasn’t great at trivia tonight. Ordered one of the salads but pretty much everything in the salad was out of stock and so it just ended up being a lot of leaves and dressing. To be fair they did replace it when we complained. Very unusual as the food is really great here.

Terrible food, staff so unhelpful and rude. Very disappointing. Unsure what has happened but shocking how bad it is.

Meal had chilli flakes all over, no mention of chilli in menu, unable to eat. Dessert a bit disappointing

Atmosphere was lovely, we were on the upstairs balcony. All the guests enjoyed their meal. The good rating was because my Salt and Pepper Squid was the worst I had in a long time and we couldn't get the champagne we wanted.
