Love the French toast and coffee! Perfect cafe for outdoor dining!

Ivy Lane is my favourite local cafe in Burwood. Everything they make is fresh, delicious. They really care of what they do. However, they are 2 downsides to me, updated menu, it’s not longer the green smoothie, my favourite one and they did not replace it for a new option. Lastly, the round small tables are really small for two people, if you order several dishes, there’s no room for all of them at once and this makes your brunch experience a little bit not enjoyable. Certain dishes like the Avo toast is huge, we share it with my hubby, adding 2 pouched running eggs. Anyway, I would continue eating there, it’s good value for money.

Get to catchup with interstate friends. Sitting inside we did move to avoid sun in our eyes otherwise great location.

Perfect! Took my vegan WA friend and she LOVEd the food and it inspired her to make a few similar dishes. The poke/sushi bowl with chicken was delicious too.

Quick and friendly service. We sat at a quiet corner. No waiting time issue as table booked in advance. Good food for the price range. The sweet was a treasure as always.

Poached eggs came out cold. I just asked them to heat the dish but they replaced it with a new one. again eggs were cold......maybe they are pre cooked and sit in a warmer. Have poached eggs at cafes often and have never had this in many years of breakfast dining. Won't go here again.

Love this place. Have been there many times. Will be back.
