Never disappoints!! Best italian food in the south east area.

My experience there was flawless from the moment we arrived, clean, staff was very courteous and helpful when ordering food and the food and dessert was sensational. Highly recommended and will definitely be back and recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Our only issue really was we booked over a month ago. Got there for Christmas lunch an they took us to an old dark back room a tried to put us both in a corner where a child would not fit. More room is needed at both restaurants. Or sit people at the bar. It is Christmas, not squishmass..

Pasta was abit dry, (like it had been ovver cooked or under a heat lamp) staff was good.

On the whole we loved our visit to Just Italy. We had a very short time to eat and they accommodated us well. The only problem was the pizza we had preordered ended up in a box on top of the oven instead of on our table. It wasn’t a huge deal, except I could tell it had been there at least 15 minutes

The arancinni balls were ordered as a main for our daughter and they were the last dish to come to the table and didn’t arrive until 15 minutes AFTER everyone had finished eating by which point our toddler had lost interest in eating. Sadly they were also very dry, over cooked and lacked flavour. The pastas were all incredible however the one person who ordered pizza was very disappointed as it was very flavourless... a few other people who tried it agreed it was very average.

A great little Italian pizzeria/restaurant. Appropriately attired, friendly staff and well above average food quality, make Just Italy worth further visits. Amazingly clean, well organised and comfortable seating. Certainly, one of the best places in eastern suburbs to enjoy good food and a good selection of wines. In particular the pizzas and Tiramisu' are of the highest quality and truly Italian style. Well worth a serious consideration when looking for an above average Pizzeria / Restaurant! We will be telling our friends about this great find on Princess Highway in Oakleigh East!

After being greeted by the wait staff we were left far too long before ordering. I had to physically get up out of my chair to ask a waiter to attend to us. When we ordered drinks there was a very long wait and one of our drinks was forgotten. We then reordered it, still nothing. Then I got up and informed the bartender who eventually got us a drink. The food was nothing special. The handmade pasta I had was very bland and needed salt. There was also no salt on our table and we had to ask for it. The staff need to learn to be far more attentive to their guests.

We are sure the food is of a high standard, however, we will never know. We were waiting to be served at our table for over 20 minutes and in that time we observed some forlorn faces of other customers experiencing the same discontent. The waiting times at this establishment are insipid and you can feel the tension from the waiting staff and kitchen. We decided to vacate after our patience was tested. Hospitality was a big disappointment, contrary to our knowledge of Italian culinary and customs of catering to the customer’s needs. Take this as friendly advice, you have opportunity for lots of improvement in customer service.

Had to wait for about 15 minutes for the table we reserved to be ready however the food was fantastic and at the table rather quickly considering the amount of people there. Would definitely go again but try to pick a quieter night, if they ever have one given the food was so good!
