First time visiting kiln ale house. Very impressed with the service, food and value for money :) we will definitely be back :) thank you

Best steak we've had in years cooked to perfection garlic sauce and prawns was amazing!!!

The portion sizes of the food are surprisingly large considering the price range. We never get disappointed with the flavour of every dish.

Honestly I was left pretty disappointed, it all started with The drinks, the Long Island Ice tea was disgusting and the staff clearly don’t know how to make a decent one. Great for getting drunk if you can just stomach the taste of ethanol. The food was dreadful, ordered a mix of dishes all of which bar the steak was good. The Wagyu Beef burger was flavourless and tasted like a pre packaged patty from Coles, we organise our own beef and farm it so by God almighty was this a downgrade and a half I wouldn’t even consider it edible. The buffalo wings were dry and tasteless, they were overly oily and overcooked. The Pork Ribs tasted somewhat off? I’m not entirely sure, the rack wasn’t bad itself but the BBQ rub on the rack was not appetising. Yet again the steaks were nice but considering they were the most expensive item on the menu you would hope so, overall it had a great dining environment and a nice atmosphere but it’s let down by its drinks and food quality. It’s a stunning venue and could be the talk of Byford but when the pub just next door has food that is genuinely amazing with proper local sourced beef it’s going to be a hard completion. But I will not be dining here in the future at all.

We enjoyed lunch, food was great although we made two seperate orders for the same table within a couple minutes of each other and then they arrived at the table about 10-15 minutes apart, first order delivered was almost consumed before the second arrived. But that would be my only criticism, was great otherwise.

I highly suggest that you add table service until 7pm, having to leave your table ( on Mothers day no less) its busy, carrying back your own drinks its asking for trouble. I think if your in the seated reserved area, table service would put you guys much higher in the atmosphere, value for money etc. Over all nice revamp from previous management.

It was great to have a salad that was not swimming in dressing, my steak was nearer the rare side rather than the medium rare, but was good. Wife’s meal spot on. Over all a great meal and atmosphere, well done.

The venue is decorated beautifully. I didnt see if there was access to the upstairs area for wheelchair access but I should imagine there would be. The food was lovely and plentiful however I asked for a spaghetti from the kids menu and recieved a penne pasta instead. The staff were amazing where nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Thankyou.

The food could be better. pretty average loaded fries and presentation could do with some attention . Atmosphere was good tho

While the food was good value and good quality, I was I disappointed BT the service staff's lack of attention - having to wait at the counter to order while two staff less than a metre away finished a conversation, having to ask for forks because the cutlery holder on our reserved table didn't have any, and having to clean my shoes after stepping in food that had been left on the floor by previous customers.

Staff are friendly and food was great cocktails were delicious but could add more to the cocktail list ☺️

Delicious food and great service. I'm looking forward to heading up and watching through footy on the big screen this season.

Fish tasted old, other food was ok. But seemed more like it was purchased else where and cooked. Not their own recipes that you would expect for the price and from an ale house

We had an amazing lunch today at Kiln Ale house. The food was so good, very fresh and tasty. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this venue.

Great service, friendly and efficient staff. Food are excellent. Only downside was, we were hoping to experience rooftop dining, but they were short staffed that night.

Arrived with a freindly welcome. We had a reservation for 4 adults and baby, we were seated at a long 6 seater table. The bench against the back was is seriously to low to sit at that table. My hubby is 184cm and when seated on 1 layer of cushion, the table came to his chest. This is not ideal seating. The table of guests next to us experienced to same problem as we joked around about it and changed tables. They ended up folding the back rest cushion down to boost themselves up. Not ideal as they were uncomfortable with nothing so rest back on. This need to be changed out or make the legs higher. We shifted to a small 4 seater table only to then lean on the table and it be extremely wobbly in all directions. Timer tables over time will move with weight and constant manipulation if being moved around. We didn't say anything to staff and could not be bothered moving again, so we shoves knives under the table centre pole to try help it stop moving. We were only slightly successful. Totally forgot to mention it to staff as we were leaving. My brother asked for a alcoholic drink but I but did not taste like what he normally has and staff were catering for him to figure out why it didn't taste that same. Conclusion was the stuff on tap was not the same as mixing seperqtaly. Other than the seating, table and drink. Food was great, fresh, very hot and delicious. Place looks great. First time being there. Brother was taken back how good it looks and the food after being once before with it being called something else. Just need to fix those wobbly tables and low bench chairs. Not suitable for dining.

Had a lovely lunch with friends at Kiln yesterday. Ordered a variety of share plates. Everything was presented well and we thoroughly enjoyed what we had 😁

Lamb cutlets were great. Steak was tough but garlic sauce amazing

Service was lovely, food was plenty and tasty. Only one small criticism, we were not asked how we wanted our meat cooked, I usually like well done, and medium rare is not as cooked as I like. The drinks were great, I recommend the Mock tail Mijito very refreshing. Will definitely go again.

Food was okay, I wouldn’t order it again. The waitstaff were uninterested in providing service. We thanked them on the way out and we were totally ignored. Another customer was attempting to get service at the bar and she was also being treated the same way, so it wasn’t just us. Quite disappointed considering all the recent positive reviews.

Our table was double booked, a staff member said they would look for another one. The staff member disappeared and didn’t return, we went downstairs to enquire at the bar, another staff member eventually found a table for us, the original staff member was serving drinks and had forgotten. 45 + minute wait for food, online ordering system wasn’t working.

Very loud, food was over cooked asked for medium rare steak and got a well done one. It was so dry I couldn’t eat it. The tables were dirty on arrival.

Reserved online so we could sit in restaurant but were told they were booked so we sat in the alley by the bar. The restaurant was almost completely empty 45 min later. Fish tacos were cooked but barely warm. Loaded fries were good. Staff inattentive and busy chatting. No one asked us about our food. Won’t

It’s was good, Great they had a kids corner, alcoholic slushy machine was mint, great selection of beers and the food was good too!

Food was standard. Peach on the beach was mixed very well but the Long Island Iced Tea was terrible. The young man who served our food was friendly but the lady who greeted me for our table did not give us menus. We have to do it ourselves but she gave some to the customers sitting next to ours. Not really a place I will go back to.

Hubby, myself came for lunch with our friends who live in serpentine that we were visiting. Hubby and I live in northam and this week are celebrating his birthday which is on the 28th. Will be dining our three meals each day somewhere different leading up to his 60th. Your venue is amazing, staff great to deal with and food OMG amazing. Great choice of meals, was only a 15 minute wait for food yo arrive at table from ordering. We can’t wait to come back soon to try some more
