We enjoyed our experience, although we felt like they were trying to upsell & some pressure to purchase the more expensive packages and cuts of meat. The show is excellent - very funny and interactive. Our reservation was for 6.30pm but we were still not seated until just before 7pm for our dinner slot. The food was nice just a little disjointed in the timing of how it was served. Vegetables first and then chicken, then steamed rice came out later as they had made a mistake with ours and thought we chose the fried rice. Would have been nice to have eaten all the components at the same time. This is our second time here and will be back again the next time we're at the Gold Coast. Thank you.

Wow! The atmosphere was fantastic! Wait staff were attentive. friendly, prompt and efficient. Our chef was Ben, and by far the best teppanyaki chef we've experienced! He was full of character and knew his tools like the back of his hand. Great sense of humour woth his jokes for all ages, and fully engaged our children who would normally be attached to their devices! Food was sensational and beyond our expectations. We've had a few other teppanyaki experiences and this one by far is the BEST! 10/10. Food was in abundance and large sizes, even for my my husband, who is usually requiring seconds! The food was exceptionally priced and the service we received you can't put a price on that! We'd paid much more at other restaurants, yet we paid less for tonight's experience and by far one of the best meals and experiences we've had! Also made my daughters 15th birthday extra special. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thanks Kookoo teppanyaki, and particularly Ben! We will definitely be returning next time we are back in the GC!

It’s not that it was a bad experience as the food was good and the chef very entertaining but everything was so rushed with no time to experience the food. Felt like being on a conveyor belt. They tried to make things right as they were late to serve us and gave us some spring rolls on the house but then we didn’t have time to eat them before all the food kept coming. Wouldn’t go back again.

We enjoyed our night out. The only feedback I would give is to be a little less heavy handed on the garlic - especially in the chicken fried rice and the steak - all I could taste was garlic.

This was the first time I have been to a Teppanyaki restaurant and it was fabulous. The food was delicious, the service was great and the entertainment value of the chef was outstanding. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Funny chef but needs to be aware of his jokes as they were not appropriate for my 13year old daughter and of an adult nature.

First time I’ve ever had Tepanyakl and the food was absolutely amazing.

Fabulous food with entertaining, talented chefs (such as Ed) and wonderful support staff (like Rae & Aron) . We're already looking forward to our next visit! We had the surf and turf, and must say it was all cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We came for dinner while visiting surfers paradise. 7 of us from 5yo to 40yo and we all had an absolute ball of a time. Out chef was amazing. Funny but still professional and the food was perfect!!!
