This was our very first time experiencing Teppanyaki and I tell you it did not disappoint. The staff were all friendly and Luke our chef was very entertaining and knew how to keep us and the kids engaged the whole time. We all had lots of laughs and honestly the food was delicious! It was a great way to finish our holidays here. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you guys.

This is the second time I've been to KooKoo, and the second time was just as excellent as the first time! From the entertaining & humorous Chef Luke to the delicious food, I couldn't fault a single thing. Myself, my partner, and our friend loved every bite & every minute we spent there. My partner can be a picky eater, and he absolutely devoured every morsel. I would recommend this experience to anybody staying in the Gold Coast!

The time that we ate there were not many plan in the restaurant but it seemed like they were rushing to get us out and turn the table our. Other that this feeling everything was great. The kids loved it, the food was amazing, the chef was great funny and skilful. would definitely go there again.

We had the classic banquet with scallops and barramundi. The chef was very entertaining and we walked out with very full bellies! Food was delicious! Be sure to book as is very popular!

Very expensive and very average food and ‘show’. Burn marks on chest from flying egg that was nowhere near target.

Entertaining, tasty, great service, on point! Very hot in restaurant and tad noisy.. Fans noisy. This area needs addressing.. Overall, good night!

Chef was amazing, friendly and interactive, kept everyone entertained. However the whole experience did feel a bit rushed. I understand that they have to limit the time each table has but it’s very difficult to rush the kids to eat faster. Overall, we still enjoyed our experience. Tip: definitely book a table instead of walk-in!!

Bit boring host/chef not much entertaining and interaction with diners. only lit fire once. threw food twice and no other tricks with kids much, like he was over it and bit lazy to entertain and we paid $178 for that!

You are paying for the show and experience. The chefs are great at putting on a show but the feed was a little bland.

So dissapointed in our experience, food wasn't great, tasted burnt garlic, prawns over cooked, very low entertaining and interaction for price paid as dinner and show. Upstairs area was extremely hot and uncomfortable.

Service and food really good. Disappointing that the experience was limited. Every other Place I’ve been is more interactive with throwing and catching the food. We only had to catch an egg and that was it. Seemed rushed. Wouldn’t recommend if you want an authentic teppanyaki experience.
