KooKoo Teppanyaki and Lounge Bar

It was too loud for my liking. I would loved some chicken to sample but the cook only gave 5 people chicken and didn’t include us. Our rice was sticking on the grill and it didn’t taste as good.

It was a fun very well organised. Experience in and out fantastic with kids, friendly chef. Food was good quality and cooked well even though it is primarily a show/tourist event.

I went there with my 7-year-old daughter. We went there hoping to try the kangaroo meat, which was softer and more delicious than we expected. The other dishes were also delicious. The atmosphere was fun and my daughter was delighted. The staff were also kind.

We had an amazing night. Food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. While we all walked away extremely full it was a bit more experience, and is a special occasion dining experience.

We loved our experience. It was our first time doing a teppanyaki experience and it was amazing our chef Ken was phenomenal and he made it so much fun. The food was a 10/10 and there was so much. We will definitely be back when we visit the GC again. I am glad we came across this gem of a restaurant.

it's a good touristic restaurant to get you entertained. food isn't the best attraction to be honest, but they do have good service. i guess you know how to choose

The rushed us in and out. Terrible service. Staff were not friendly or helpful or attentive. They promised a show and there was not one. The chef did not engage much and did nothing really except cook the food -,he then threw food in prowl’s faces with terrible angles. I have been to many teppanyaki’s across Australia and Japan and this was by far the worst.

We were asked to arrive at 5.40pm for a 6.10pm start. At 5.30pm we received a text to say show starts at 5.40pm. We had to rush to try and make it, which was annoying. We booked for 8 people and they added 2 extra people, which is fine, however, out group of 8 were placed away from the grill and they were placed in front. 4 of us couldn't even see the chef cook . The food was delicious, but the show and cooking style lacked slot compared to other places we have been to. Everything felt rushed and like we were just a number, this is disappointing as our meal was over $850. We were out in less than an hour. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, if they are going for a fantastic night out and experience.

What a fantastic restaurant - foo, Service & the whole experience all match up! Our chef was amazingly skilled and very friendly and humorous too and gave everyone a great meal and enjoyable time… Best teppenyaki I’ve been to outside of Japan!

Amazing place, people are so friendly & food was amazing

The chef was fine, but the wait staff were vacant & disinterested. Mixed up our childs meal, so consequently he was only served a bowl of steamed rice. No meat, veg, spring roll or dessert. And our adult meal servings were much smaller than the party we shared the table with? We left hungry and they left lots on their plates to get thrown out. For the price, I would have expected much better service. Very very disappointed

First time visiting teppanyaki restaurant. small wait time but able to use time to order drinks and go through menu. It was a very entertaining experience, and great food. catered for dietary needs, which was most appreciated. value for money. I would recommend, and I can't wait to go again.
