First time here and I’ll definitely go back. We were a table of 6 pp and we tried at least 70% of the menu. Delicious food served quickly and lovely waitress! Byo wine @$7/ bottle . Good value sakes available. Overall amazing food great variety! Only downside is parking in Northbridge is such a hassle!

We were welcomed instantly upon arrival and seated straight away. The service was fantastic and prompt. The food came spread out which was very nice as it means we could digest our food between each dish! The food quality and flavours were exceptional. 10/10 Experience!

Always a favourite, an atmospheric dining and drinking experience with top-quality cuisine and ingredients all around. My partner and I love the intimate decor, the variety of flavours for both food and drinks, and most of all the impeccable quality of everything: the sashimi melts in your mouth, the house sake is pure flavour with no burn, and the miso crème brûlée is beyond divine. Could not recommend highly enough.

New favourite place to eat, drink and be merry. We stumbled upon this place during a night out at fringe, and made a booking for the next available evening. Everything we ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to work my way through the entire menu! I lived in Japan for 5 years and miss it dearly. This place brought me back!!

Good service. Tasty food. The price is reasonable. Connected to another kbbq restaurant but there was no bbq smell in the japanese section so that was great.

Food tasted good. Worth to try, but a bit pricey I think James Parker is better overall.

Very deceiving from the outside, doesn't look like much but it's fantastic. Only drawback is that it's pricey given the servings but oh well fine-dining celebrity chef so ....
