Kuza Urban Japanese Food

Delicious food and great service. Restaurant was nearly full when we booked and quite noisy when we arrived but we were asked if we would like to sit at the bar, which we did, right in the corner behind the check-in booth and it was fine and actually very private.

Enjoyed most of the food but to was a shame they brought all the dishes at once. It spoiled the crab and watermelon dish.

First visit, very impressed. Lovely food and atmosphere. Very busy on a Saturday so recommend to book. Limited vegetarian options on menu though which was a shame.

The menu was long, without photos, so it took a while to decide what to have. Everything looked good and was tasty. Wine and beers pricey. Noisy as expected on a Saturday night, but tables were a bit close together.

Pretty average Japanese that costs quite a bit. Wasn’t enough to make an impression for us to go back mainly because of pricing. We had the 25% off entertainment book.

The food is great and the service always warm & friendly. Kuza is a must for all locals and tourists even if you were not a sushi lover because that's all about to change.

Most if the dishes we ordered for the night were delicious except for a few of the sushi dishes which were a let down, including softshell crab. Services were good except for one staff which appeared to be somewhat ignorant. Hot Japanese tea was a massive let down as too stingy on the amount of tea leaves in the pot considering they charge $4 per person... the tea was so diluted that it practically tastes like water. Wait time was hugely disappointing as after one dish came out, it was gone within 2 mins but had to wait for approximately 15 mins before next dish came out... super annoying. Atmosphere was probably the best out of the whole experience as the restaurant was nicely decorated and not overly done. Overall was ok, but not the place that I would return anytime soon.

Food was amazing and the service was just as good

Service was very slow with one meal coming out over 30 minutes before the 4th meal . Ordered medium lamb chops which are way over cooked and tough/ chewy. The other meals were ok with the beef tender loins being the high light. Quite expensive for the meal received. Won't be going back.

KUZA is our favourite Japanese restaurant! We travel all the way from Mosman Park every time we want Japanese as every mouthful is delectable!! Beautiful dragon rolls, crispy tofu, super crunchy tempuras, melt in the mouth beef cheeks, slurpy ramens, delightful morsels of pork Goza and karaage chicken. Service is excellent on every occasion we visit the place! All washed down with flavorsome roast cereal green tea! Mmmmmmmmm.....,
