With several restaurants across the western suburbs, La Mono are firmly established as one of western Sydney’s favourite Lebanese eateries, offering up authentic cuisine at affordable prices in a cool atmosphere. Business types in Parramatta feel right at home in the sleek surroundings, and they can pick up something easy on-the-go like a beautiful marinated chicken shish tawook or vegetarian falafel roll. Those with a bit more time in Merrylands can settle into a more lavish Lebanese meal on Burnett Street, picking their way through the traditional Arabic dishes ideal for sharing, of course including La Mono’s iconic charcoal chicken but also a host of delicious desserts and tasty sides, from stuffed vine leaves and crispy fattoush to all the hommus, baba ghannouj and tabouli you can handle.
The quality, quantity and quick meal delivery over-ride the following comments. When booking "on line" one can only only book a maximum of 6. Our group was 10, so in the special comments I state "plus an additional 4". But table had been set for 6, no notice had been taken of the special note.. Some of our group were late to arrive so we looked to order on their behalf but no waiter was to be seen for several minutes. When paying those who have eaten and are ready to pay, have to line up in a queue with those who are collecting "take-aways"... not an ideal end to a lovely eating experience.
La mono is an awesome family friendly restuarant with A class service in a relaxed atmosphere. The variety and freshness is outstanding. The service is fast thank you
Size of table was too small it barely fit all the plates we ordered. Portion sizes were small too except the chicken. Fatoush salad was in a deep fried bread bowl making it unpleasant to eat and fall everywhere.
