Excellent, food was great and staff both friendly and efficient

Great service, excellent food. Really nice outdoor area and the kids loved the playground.

Easy to book. All staff were lovely. There was a variety of yummy food on the menu. We were able to sit and enjoy our meal and conversation without watching the clock !

Booking didnt come through on Quandoo so we were given 2 options to sit but both tables were already occupied (people were actually sitting there!) So we ended up just waiting until a table was cleared

We went yesterday and they were the busiest I have seen but after you ordered your food it was still at your table within 10mins. Cannot fault this place service snd staff are wonderful!

My guest and I had a lovely time at the Lakeview Restaurant. Our only negative was it was a bit hot sitting in the sun even though there were fans. Overall, we had an excellent time and will be back. Thank you

My parents and I had a lovely breakfast here this morning. The coffee and food were great, and it’s a very nice location to be in a garden centre, looking out amongst the plants and trees. Thank you 🙏

We’ve come here for years but it’s not the same anymore. We met friends for coffee and found the staff very disorganised. Two couples ordered together, one couple received their order and the other waited 10 minutes longer for their coffee and cake. The order when received was wrong. They had run out of scones and some juices by 10am.

Disappointed. Booked a particular table for 12 people. In spite of a written request and telephone confirmation regarding the seating arrangement, we arrived to find “our” table had been given to a group of 8 people. Service was poor. Crows all over tables eating left over food. Was uncomfortably hot.

You always have to book a table at the weekend. It's a great settling and the food is lovely. They have nice cakes. I have had lunch before and the servings are big.

The service was good, the food was good however looking at the menus was not appealing at all. They were paper and dirty with food and coffee stains on them and partially torn. Surely they could have taken the time to laminate them.

Happy service. Busy, but did not have to wait long to order food. Well presented, tasty. Wo der what can be done to reduce overall Noise.

We waited a very long time for coffee with people after us getting coffee before us. Two people at our table ordered food and had finished eating for at least 15 minutes before coffees arrived. I ordered a soy flat white and it was the worst soy milk coffee I have ever had. - it tasted like it may have been almond milk, not soy - too bad if I had a nut allergy!!! We have never had any problems with your cafe before, but today was definitely not good, sorry.

booked table was not available as they'd forgotten to reserve it. I had quiche. salad & fries - salad was undressed, chips were over cooked and quiche wasn't fresh. all in all quite disappointing, won't bother again

A very busy cafe. Hot chocolate was disappointing (very watery) but eggs florentine were good but not runny. Eaten here many times and overall it is good service and food.

The cafe, staff, food & drinks were all great 👌Unfortunately one of our group has vestibular migraine (loud noise can be a problem for her)& we chose the Lakeview cafe as it is outside, with shade. Unfortunately there was lots of generator-type noise coming from Waldecks, so our friend with the sensitivity to noise was not able to stay very long. It is a shame, as I've been to the cafe before & remember it being lovely & peaceful.

Coffee came after meal finished and 2 requests as to where they where

When I went up to order our lunch we were told they had lost power and the kitchen was closed. Consequently we left feeling very hungry.

We were on table 2 the only table without a QR code for ordering. Nevertheless, everyone gets in a queue and the line moved quickly.

Excellent food and service. All facilities clean and staff very friendly.
