The Gold Coast might not be the heart of Australia’s cafe culture – that accolade probably goes to Melbourne, if we’re being honest – but in the form of Le Vintage Boutique Cafe, there is one name that can compete with the Victorians. Le Vintage have expanded into a second location on the Gold Coast, on Kurilpa Street, just off the Pacific Motorway in Worongary, and their new cafe is fast becoming just as well-regarded as the original. If you arrive early in the morning, you can try out the eggs – anyway you like, but we’d recommend the Benedict with ham, cheese and tomato – and for those who show up in the afternoon, there are plenty of options in front of you. Burgers, schnitzels and salads are all there, as are Aussie classics such as chicken parmigiana and Yearling rib fillet. Reserve yourself a table at Le Vintage, gather up your mates and mosey on down to Worongary for one of the best cafes on the Gold Coast.
