Nice food, but well and truly overpriced. Not near a sufficient quantity of pork belly with the kale. I felt quite ripped off to be honest.

The food is always delicious - best brunch I ever have had in Melbourne! It reminds me of my childhood in Asia. I also think the staff attend to customers well and the atmosphere is always great.

Fantastic food, music was too loud and couldn't hear eachother speak. Would go back with a younger crowd (not my 60 year old parents) for drinks and share plates

It's a nice space to be in, the food is innovative, fun and full of flavor, and the staff are great. To top it all of, the cocktail and wine lists are extensive. We've been twice and will definitely be back asap.

Great restaurant. Great vibe and excellent waiters. Food also really good. True "Melbourne" dining experience. Would highly recommend for small groups 2-4 people, better for intimate dining.

Fantastic Brunch. All our food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely come back again for dinner and drinks! Great atmosphere and decor.

Food was nice but rather overpriced! When diners are prompted to leave when their gastro pub-style table time of two hours makes the prices even worse. We spent over $100 each for a total of four plates of food. There's no need to go back to Magic Mountain Saloon, there's too many other better options in Melbourne that aren't like a pub that treat you like a king when you pay that price.

We arrived early to have a drink at the bar which was very busy! There was a hold up with our cocktails and the manager thought we had been inconvenienced and gave us the cocktails for free. We didn't complain as we realised the restaurant was busy but they were concerned we had waited too long. It is quite noisy but that's cos it was really busy so that adds to the buzz of the place. Food was great service very good and friendly I would recommend this restaurant and I would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere and food was surprisingly fantastic! Portions were small but most dishes was designed for sharing. Music was pretty loud so be prepared for bit of loud talking.

We loved it! The atmosphere was great ! Cocktails were really good! Food was orgasmic, I mean it lol The waiters were super lovely! We are deffo back again soon!

Excellent food and atmosphere. The chicken scotch eggs were a great entree. Jungle duck curry and rice were amazing. A little in the costly side on drinks. Service could have been a little more attentive. Will return.

The most positive things were all the food we ordered was delicious and our waiter was lovely. But there were a number of menu items not available including wine, which becomes frustrating after continuously asking for items and being told we've run out. We were strictly kicked off our table just before 8pm before finishing our wine and the table remainedempty at least for 20 mins and we found the barman rude. Plus they don't spirit bills.

The staff were very helpful when I made the booking for the right time. They were extremely accommodating. The staff on the night were very attentive and polite. The food was really good but I can't say I love the menu to be honest. Love the venue and the atmospher though.

The staff are always lovely and very helpful if you have any questions in relation to the menu and special dietary needs. It's difficult when you are fructose intolerant to eat out as most foods have garlic and onion however the staff did provide advice on best choices given my food allergies. The Salads are many and all so far have been really delicious. This is a popular restaurant in the area so recommend you book.

Good was great, waiter was terribl. He didn't even top up or pour wine once. The atmosphere of the venue was also great. We came in on Saturday night.

Lovey and super frirndly staff, we brought a birthday cake and staff sing happy birthday song for us. Awesome food and great presentation ! We had a great night. Will come back again.

Cannot fault this place! The lamb curry is probably the best thing I've ever had! Followed by the ginger chicken. And service is spot on.

Phenominal food, great service. Magic Mountain is our favourite restaurant in Melbou re. The Roti is especially good. Bring a group of friends to try more dishes!

Something different for that networking or business development meeting, delicious food, experienced and passionate staff. If I had to change anything it would only be the noise level of the background music, (if the noise level was a tad lower then that would have made it an even more enjoyable experience for all)

Food was excellent and service was great! Waitress was friendly and engaging. Had the kale & pork belly, soft shell crab, duck curry and spicy Kaffir lime chicken and prawn. All dishes were yummy with just the right level of spiciness. Atmosphere was great although it was a tad dim. Guests had a little trouble reading the menu haha

The food (oh my god - it was amazing!!!) the service (print friendly and attentive - always kept our glasses full), the atmosphere (the place was buzzing - booking in advance is highly reccomended!) and the extensive cocktail and wine lists makes Magic Mountain Saloon a MUST visit!!

Overall pretty good. Food tasty and filling. Enjoyed the ambience and the service. I thought that some of the fish dishes were a little on the fishy side (this comes through only in the raw dishes), but still enjoyed the food and the wine list was focussed but extensive.

Great service, vibe and spicy food with a real balance of complimenting flavours and textures. Four of us all had a great time and would definitely return.

Service was fantastic and food was really good. We shared the calamari and the sour orange snapper curry which were both really tasty and certainly enough for two for lunch.

We loved our first visit to Magic Mountain. Attentive staff, great food and wine, and a interesting setting. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

Food and cocktails were delicious and a great variety to choose from! Service could've been a bit more prompt but I think we were there at a very busy time with limited waiting staff.

Normally the spritzers are amazing, but this time they were absolutely rubbish. One of the glasses was half full, so I asked the wait staff and she said the bar tender said that's how they are. Every other time I've been there, they were full. It also tasted horrible, as did the one my friend ordered. The food was ok, again, I've had better on other nights I've been there. While I was waiting for my friend to arrive, the staff were pushy and kept asking if i was waiting on someone and that we only had two hours, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Overall, not the best experience I've had at MMS.

Food was amazing. The service was a little erratic (think the guy was new), but he tried really hard and we had a great time!

Great bar/restaurant. Amazing atmosphere with delicious SE Asian food with an Australian twist. Extensive cocktail and wine list. Service was attentive, but casual and fun. I always come here with people from out of town - it's very "Melbourne".
