Magic Mountain Saloon

Great service. Delicious food (the soft shell crab dry curry was particularly good). Plenty of gluten free options. Looking forward to returning to try more of the dishes on offer.

I've been to Magic Mountain saloon 3 times, the foods were good, tasty & consistent. Ambience was nice but Saturday nite too busy and noisy, we couldn't really talk Waiter/waitress were friendly but still professional. Had recommended to friends, they went & happy.

The food was great and well priced. They offer three different priced options for the banquet. The atmosphere is great and in an awesome location

Great atmosphere and awesome service. Really well done food. Took family from UK who absolutely loved. A must when in melbourne. Also in a cool part of two with lots of cocktail bars nearby. Mind you cocktail list looks great here too!

At first it was difficult to get the waiters attention but that was a minor thing compared to the great food and drinks that were served.

Nice restaurant, but atmosphere for lunch on a Sunday could be improved (maybe it is more bustling on a weekday). Food was absolutely delicious - although the waitress recommended 2 mains and a few small dishes between 2 people, I felt that 2 mains were enough. The servings were quite generous and the nature of the food was quite filling (curries, stir fries etc).

We had a very good night Food was delicious, generou serves Waiter helpful and knowledgeable. Fun place to be on a Friday night .will go again and again

Amazing food and service. We will definitely be going back soon to try out dinner. Would highly recommend for breakfast and will be one of our favourites.

Food is awesome. Great ambience. I've only ever been on a weeknight For an early dinner and it's great. Last time I went music was a bit loud but this time it was completely fine.

The food and service was superb! We had the beef ribs, lamb shoulder curry and the caramelised pork with kale. With an extensive cocktail and drink menu. Will go again

Absolutely positively amazing. A delight for all your senses. Staff are very knowledgeable and passionate. Wine and beer list does the menu justice! Highly recommend albeit not cheap!

The food was okay but we thought it was overpriced. Got seated at a table with a view of the adjacent carpark with the glow of the bright florescent lights removing any ambience the restaurant has. The service was terrible! Waited to get our orders taken, then ages for the food. I'm not usually one to post reviews but the overall experience was that bad.

Great food and service. Did have to shout over the music though - maybe a little loud for a casual Wednesday night dinner for two.

Food was fantastic. Staff were lovely but service was slow. We were tucked in a corner booth and had to get their attention several times. Great atmosphere and food was terrific. Will go back again.

Thai/Asian food with a difference. Full and half serves on some of the bigger dishes which allows for 2 people to share. Always spot on friendly & professional service no matter how busy, and wine list concise but varied both in choice and price. Great for nervous first date night because of background music and busy atmosphere.

Food came out nice and fast, hot, fresh and tasty. Great flavour, would come here again, good service, but more flavour in the desserts would be great

Went on a Saturday night with my mum, was great food and really nice atmosphere. The cocktails were delicious too! The only downside is it's a bit on the pricey side but all in all will be back!

Great friendly service. Buzzy and loud music. Yummy egg and veg noodles. Flamboyant cocktails. Fun location for a fun night in Melbourne. Would recommend. :)

Food was GREAT! Service was great at the start however after we were served our mains the service became terrible. We ate out meal in small saucers. It was hard to get a servers attention because the place was noisy. Our bill required someone amendments and it took FOREVER to come back. During that period be were even told to leave because the next sitting has been waiting and we still haven't received out bill. Another criticism I would like to make is it would be nice if they gave us a 30 min warning that our sitting is coming to an end. So we have the option to be able to order or even look at dessert menu. Sorry but the servers need to pick up their game!!!

Couldn't recommend Magic Mountain enough. Exceptional service and friendly staff. The menu was a little overwhelming so our waitress recommended sharing three mains between two. It was perfect! The lamb curry was a favourite.

Loved it - great atmosphere and service. The chefs were amazing too. I wanted to try everything on the menu - I couldn't, but what I did have was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

The food was just amazing. The staff were all attentive and fast despite the busyness of the restaurant. Highly recommended. The booking process was also pretty simple and easy to navigate.

The waiters were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and great combination of flavours. Overall a very lovely experience. I would highly recommend to others, and would love to go back again next time I'm in Melbourne!!

Great atmosphere and service and the steamed lemongrass and chilli mussels are sublime. Would highly recommend for a modern take on Thai/ Aussie cuisine with a modern twist.

Food was delicious (especially the rice balls!) but service was horrific. The food all came out at once and we had to send some back because our table was too small. We asked to move but were told we could't and got very little sympathy from the wait staff. The food also arrived before we even got our wine. Most of the people in our group have been to Magic Mountain a number of times and have never had such appalling service. We ordered a second bottle of wine and the watched the waitress struggle to open it away from the table before sitting it in the middle of our table, not even pouring it in to our glasses. She also had no knowledge of the non-alcoholic drinks list when asked by one of our pregnant guests. We won't hurry back which is a shame because we love the food!

Food was fantastic. The attitude and arrogance of the "Host" took the gloss off what was a great night. I would go back for the food and only if I knew the same Host wasn't there

Delicious yet spicy food! We are vegetarian, so lots of options for us! Friendly staff but a little disorganised. Food is reasonably priced. Overall enjoyable but wouldn't Rush back.

Spectacular food, amazing cocktails (especially the la vie en rose) and our waitress, Mia, was attentive, animated and made the night perfect for us. Will definitely be back!

Love the food. Particularly the fried chicken ribs!! Curries are great too. Service could have been faster but perhaps that was just because we were there early and they weren't fully staffed up.

Interesting tasty food. Pumpkin and cauliflower salad particularly nice. Venue is a little noisy. Luckily we were in a small alcove so conversation was possible. This was my second visit and will go again.

Very pushy to order drinks at the start, then the waitress wouldn't come back and take our food order! We had to track another waitress down to take our order. Delicious food and drinks! Bit pricey.

Food: Very good. Interesting flavours and abundance of choice. Our waiter was very helpful in explanations and recommendations. The result was fantastic. Service: Good and attentive service throughout the night in a non-intrusive way. Makes for excellent get together with friends for a long catch up.

Fantastic dining experience. Two of us shared three dishes (for brunch) and couldn't fault any of them. Recommend anyone who hasn't been here to try and enjoy.
