The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean, but it was cold inside and the food was very overpriced and nothing special. There was a limited menu, no dessert options or coffee/tea available and we were told they don't serve alcohol (although the table next to us had glasses of wine). There wasn't any reason for us to stay longer than the meal. It was strange because the walls were bare and made it look like the restaurant had just opened, perhaps they were renovating but we weren't informed. The website makes it look like a fully functional restaurant - it even has a better menu - but the reality was nothing like that. Very disappointing.
The place had a nice ambience. Having travelled to Peru quite a few times, this food really took me back there. The food portions were quite generous and absolutely delicious.
I found the food to be very good and authentically Peruvian, however, it was very cold in the restaurant and the food arrived cold. It was the middle of winter and there was no heating, so all of my friends and I ate with their jackets on, and in my case wore my gloves. Certainly not an overall pleasurable dining experience. They need more wait staff, as service was a bit lackluster, and does not match the prices which you are paying. Would I go back? Not sure.
Overall good food - but very small servings & rather expensive! Also limited range offered on the menu. Probably won't go back at such prices.
Best peruvian food I ever tried, it was like being back home...even better! The ceviche was so fresh and truly amazing. I will definitely come back again
The food in incredible and it didn't take too long. They did open late (12:10, for a midday reservation), and were a bit disorganised, but they seem like nice people so it was okay. A bit pricey, but worth it! I will definitely be back!
Nice atmosphere and friendly stuff. Really enjoyed my main - fish with seafood rice (sorry, can't remember the spanish name of that dish heh) but mostly I'm in love with ceviche, which we ordered as an entree <3
Fantastic food and wonderful service. Authentic Peruvian food the lamb and dessert selection was delicious as were the picous sours ...highly recommend we will be back
Delicious starters and main entrees. We ordered ceviche, gaspacho and pork belly as starters and then followed that with arroz con pato (duck), lamb with pinto beans and bistek ala pobre. Except for the beef, they were all cooked perfectly! The beef tasted good but was just a little overcooked. The lamb and duck were amazing! We will definitely go back!
Too expensive for the area and the rice dish was a mash with seafood not very nice, the Pisco sour is good, twice I have been before and the portions were acceptable, for the price the main dish was the portion of an entrée.
