The food was great. The staff were very friendly and the service was good.
Tony was a great wealth of knowledge and his service was great. The pizzas are worth the hours drive from Melbourne- they were high up on our list of the best pizzas we have had for many a year.
Will definitely recommend and return. A lovely balanced atmosphere without the commonly found pretentiousness.
Good value for money. Great service, food and drink. Atmosphere and views
The perfect place to enjoy great food, great service. Will definitely be back.
This was my second visit. The food and wine lived up to my memory from the first visit. We sat outside and it was lovely. Just a shame that the wait staff were not so switched on. Too young and inexperienced. The owners on the other hand are really lovely. The pumpkin gnocchi was to die for. 😋
Lovely lunch thank you. Will come back and recommend you to friends
Fantastic winery. The 2018 Chardonnay was exceptional and the food was delicious huge compliments to the chef. Will definitely return very soon.
We enjoyed our pre-lunch wine tastings. Then sat down to lunch & had the amazing wood fired pizzas. Lovely view over the Vinyard while we had lunch.
Our visit was lovely and the food was delicious, however, we were a little disappointed there was no savignon blanc on the wine list. Thanks!
Great food ...a little more attention service wise would have been great but no complaints really
Very noisy, but realise busy on weekends. Would only come during the week next time
Amazing food, great service .. couldn’t be happier. Coming back next time for sure!
A bit disappointed that although I had booked online, they hadn't checked and reserved seating re: online bookings and felt that it was quite ok to place us outside (around the corner) and away from the heaters on a cool windy day. They need to organise more protection from the elements for the outside area. By the way, the olives came out boiling hot, should be warm, not scolding.
Beautiful wines, fabulous gnocchi, lovely service.. a great little place!
First time visit but won’t be our last. Hubby’s birthday do family lunch with 3 little grandchildren and newborn. Food was delicious , garlic prawns for entree for some , then pizzas all round for main. Clean plates is recommendation to us for a great meal and that’s what we left with. Wine nice and all decently priced and lovely venue. Relaxed and pleasant venue
What a lovely smaller winery. Great food, wine and service. Will be back with family xx
Amazing Italian food and wine! Highly recommend! The Shiraz is award winning.
Can be a little noisy but the excellent food, good service & location makes a visit to Many Hands Winery a delight.
Food & wine was fabulous....but PLEASE fix the acoustics !! I’m an Interior Designer, so I know it’s fixable with Acoustic panels, do yourself a favor & get the good name you deserve 👍😃
We dined with six friends for a birthday lunch. The food was good but the service was not. Ordered entrees and main meals and the main meals were served before the entrees. When this was questioned the owner said the waiter thought we would want both served at the same time. When we advised him that this was not discussed or requested we were left with both dishes on the table and had to race through our entrees so our main meals did not get cold. One guest ordered the gnocchi and said it was cold inside but was not happy to say anything because of the attitude of the owner. Drinks were ordered during the meal on two occasions which did not arrive. Owner blamed staff even though one drink order was placed with him directly. When my husband attempted to give feedback to the owner upon leaving he did not want to take anything onboard and blamed his staff. A shame because the food was good but we will not go back.
The worst service imaginable - think an episode of faulty towers and you have our experience. Head waiter walked out half way thru - but overall poorly run team . Although I appreciate how hard it is too have a team member walk out at $ 200 for lunch it is not our issue . Food nice and GF pizza was great . View lovely . Better places to go with the amount of choices in the Yalley.
The food was lovely, and the 2015 Chardonnay was beautiful.
The service was appauling. The waitress put down the wrong dish infront of us three times - when we left she asked if we wanted to take the remainder of our meal with us because she said "Otherwise I'll eat it". Food was fine but we wont be back
Very Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and great wine.
Fantastic food for lunch & great wines. This is out 2nd visit in 10 months & it was even better. Staff & owners are friendly & efficient will keep coming back.
Good service, yummy food and wine and a great location
The staff and service were amazing. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We were made welcomed and not rushed. Which allowed us to enjoy our afternoon on a cold winters day. Our table wasn't cleared without the staff asking us it was ok to do so. Which is a very nice touch. They took lots of photos for us. Most importantly the food was good and came at a timely manner. Will go back again. Thank you Many Hands Winery from all of us/ LeeAnne
A little gem near the bigger wineries. Beautiful Sicilian menu, lovely view over the vines, friendly staff and family owned with both husband and wife chatting to us. Highly recommended.
Food was great marinara delicious as were the pizza and meatballs gnocchi
quick service and friendly efficient staff. Easy to location, close to Donvale
The staff and owner were amazing and very very friendly
Constant high standard and always a pleasurable experience to dine here.
Thank you for a lovely lunch. It was delicious and atmosphere was casual and lovely.
A great venue, and the best pizza l have ever had this side if Italy. The wines were also excellent and did l mention the desserts? Awesome also. The only let downs are that it's a very noisey place to eat, with all concrete floors and hard surfaces. It's very hard to hold a conversation when the place is full. And then there is the service. They seemed to lack a plan. Notable was the clearing of plates. It took 3 different people about 5 different visits to clear the table over a lengthy period. If they can get the service right, it will be 5 stars!
The staff at Many Hands Winery were amazing. The service, wine & delicious food all made our visit a very special one.
I honestly can't thank them enough for everything they did to accomodate a group of 9 people for lunch. The service was outstanding. I was embarrassed however because originally I booked for 10, then had 2 drop out in the morning, so rang an told them, then at lunch we had 1 join us , so had to change the booking yet again. I'm still embarrassed by that, but they were very accomodating. The groups did a tasting and really enjoyed what Many Hands had to offer. Thank you so much.
A little gem amongst the bigger wineries in Yarra Valley. Good food especially the wood fired pizzas and quality wines.
Very enjoyable experience, a little disappointed in the vegan options after I mentioned it when I booked but other meals were excellent!
We had a lovely pizza and great service! The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and the wine from the vineyard is lovely. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
