Found on the corner of Brisbane Street and Hill Street in West Hobart, Marquis Bistro & Buffet provides plenty of options for rest and recuperation in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere away from the CBD. The bar has three pool tables and a separate lounge with gaming machines, while the bistro is very family-friendly and serves up honest, tasty Australian pub meals at affordable prices (and generous portions). If you’re not staying at the hotel it’s not a bad idea to reserve a table before you go, just to be sure of a spot for you and the crew.

We had the most beautiful Buffet meal . The service was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming . We would defiantly be back again and highly recommend to others to try this establishment. The atmosphere was beautiful with a beautiful view of Hobart . 🍽😍
Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, beautiful food, good range & very clean.. Will definitely be returning with friends. Christmas in July theme was fantastic & we all thoroughly ate.
Food - appeared to have been sitting in the buffet for 3-4 hours Service - a complete overkill. In the 1 1/2 hours we were there various waiting staff visited our table 16 times. Plates and glasses cleared away as we were still swallowing the last mouthful and constantly asking if there is anything else we want. It was a buffet so we need to help ourselves. It wasn't enjoyable sitting there eating our meal when we were pestered every 5 minutes. I appreciate staff need to look busy but they also need to let diners enjoy a meal out. I actually watched a staff member clean a re-set a table as guests just stood up to put their jackets on while still at the table.
The buffet was delicious & the staff were friendly & extremely helpful. The restaurant was very pleasant & the seating was not close together. Added to all this the view from the room was spectacular.
Lovely meal, Lovely staff. The food was fresh and always replaced. The roast pork and crackle was very nice. The whole place was spotless. The atmosphere was warm and inviting

Excellent venue, staff and buffet. Spotlessly clean, very welcoming and fabulous selection of food. Cannot fault, Definitely need to book as it is very popular.
Friendly, helpful, cheerful, efficient,staff. Clean and neat venu. Food was great and plenty of it. and the view from the dining room is second to none.
Great selection of food from soup, prawns, fish, curry, to roast pork. Lots of salads. Heaps of desserts, even ice cream. Great staff, very friendly.

Hi.. I quite enjoyed it. But my husband thought the Baked veges bit ordinary and the battered fish dry and not much flavour. Our friends enjoyed.
Wasn't as we expected for a buffet, food was bland and also not a big selection. Also not a lot of salads to choose from.
