Mian G is an Indian restaurant where the food does all the talking. It’s a humble restaurant in the Allawah neighbourhood of Sydney and the team here are quite convinced that it’s their menu offering the most genuine taste of India and Pakistan in this part of town. As we said earlier, the food is very much the star of the show here in this part of Sydney, meaning this dining space on Allawah’s Railway Parade is simple and no-frills, but remains a pleasant and comfortable spot to enjoy a proper fill of spice and rice.

What can you expect from the menu? Well, it offers quality over quantity and standout dishes for us include the Bombay beef, the tangy mango chicken and the achari chicken. Between Tuesday and Thursday, Mian G Restaurant offers generous deal at lunch time and, unusually for an Indian restaurant in Sydney, the selection of desserts is a delight.
