Montezuma's - Coolangatta

I booked a booth and was told no, in case groups of 4 wanted one. None turned up in the time we were there. The music was very loud, so conversation was difficult. Extremely small portion for my garlic prawn enchilada. Definitely not good value.

Was a great family dinner out though I couldn’t taste the chorizo in me dinner.

I’ve been having the same meal for years the size has shrunk and the quality is very ordinary and not a lot of veggies on the delight and the price is not worth it

Best Mexican food I have ever had. The staff were friendly, the service was spot on and the atmosphere was perfect. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue, A+. Each time I come up from Victoria, this will now be my go to.

Unfortunately a lot of the dishes and drinks were unavailable. 3 People had the shredded beef combo deal and enjoyed it. I ordered the vegetarian Montezumas delight and it was far from delightful. It was a mushy tortilla covered in sloppy tasteless beans with hard chunks of vegetables arond the outside. Not at all what I was expecting and the apple slaw was dissapointing too, thought it would be like coleslaw with apple gratted in, but was barely any cabbage, big chunks of raw veggies and cheese on top, simalar to the vegetble salad that accumpanied the tortilla. Was the worst Mexican food I've ever tried. On a positive note the staff were very friendly.

Took the nephews (11y14y) out for dinner and they loved the beef nachos. My vego enchilada was yummy with nicely cooked rice and a tasty little salad. The churros w ice cream and chocolate was a huge hit too. Staff friendly!! Thankyou!!

the worst Montezuma's experience ever the beef nacho full plate contained 16 corn chips - what an absolute joke !!!!!!!!!!!

Eat a lot of Mexican. Our enchiladas were very dry with no real flavour. Ordered a side of sour cream which I have always got with enchiladas. Don't ask about the taco. Absolutely terrible.

We both did not enjoy our meals. One meal was stingy with ingredients and the other had very tough meat 😒
