Great dining on deck good wholesome food and value for money

We were very shocked to find we were seated in the Sports Bar amongst drunken patrons who were gambling and yelling at each other and at the tv screens. It was loud and at times unbearable especially with all the swearing and profanities that one would expect to experience at at a local football match. Also not the nicest place to eat dinner when people were standing literally right next to our table to watch the various tv screens around the room. One of our entrees didn’t come out as an entree but eventually arrived with the mains. I commented to the young waiter that the dish was meant to come out with the others entrees to which I was told “well it didn’t!” I don’t believe the venue was monitoring the venue patron limits under current restrictions as at one stage there were more than 30 people in the room. For a place we have really enjoyed attending in the past this has really changed our thoughts on returning.

Great food enjoyable place to go to for lunch time

It was very pleasant to be greeted by your receptionist and the waitresses. We really missed the wonderful service and the good food that you provide.

One of my favourite places, always happy to go back.

Staff shortage - they were busy & run off their feet .

Whole meal experience was good value for money. Waiting staff very cheerful and very obliging.

Save yourself the frustration- never eat at this place. Duty Manager was incompetent- he brought 5 of our 12 meals up and put on a side table next to ours and left them for 10 minutes before giving us cold meals. Half the remaining meals came 30 minutes later and the other half were returned as they were cold. Duty Manager blamed everyone but himself fo r ruining the night

The meals were good, but could have had more salad.

I loved the view, prawns languini and quiet atmosphere at Friday lunchtime. It was our first visit,but we will be back.

Very over priced menu. Ordered the lamb salad and was disappointed with it. Poor service and a run down venue. Sorry a very disappointing experience.

Lovely service especially from Zoe I think her name was, the chef took extra caution with my Meal as I’m anaphylactic to nuts and peanuts which is greatly appreciated!

Very busy as expected for New Year’s Eve. Team were good to keep things moving.

We had our Xmas breakup (only 3 of us) and found all aspects fantastic. The staff were amazing and the cooks ( run off their feet due to it being a huge day) supplied us with great value for money. Drinks were well priced as well.

Really happy with the food and choice of menu, service, friendly staff and so nice to be able to hear everyone at the table, a big bonus.

My meal was fine the other 3 at the table couldn’t finish their meals very salty

It was all good. But they put us on a table near the big screen and most of us had to move our heads to avoid the screen. Next time I will be requesting a table away from the screen.

We all had seniors meals in Jacks Bistro and they were generous serves , tasty too !! The service was friendly and efficient. Have been here many times as the food is always good , highly recommend!

The meal was excellent and very well priced - the club is punching above its weight and whilst the variety is not huge, the selection is well worth a visit.
