Curry’s were poor. Lacked flavours and authenticity. Butter chicken was like a tomato based dish. Rice and breads good. Service a bit brusque and a bit of pressure to order more.

A wonderful meal. I truly cherish a lovely curry and that's exactly what we got at 9 marys. The environment is really simple and nice - the door is oddly very narrow and yet a double door? Strange. We were one of the first reservations and we were treated with warmth and kindness as soon as we arrived. We each ordered a curry, onion bhaji, naan and rice for the table. It was all delicious! Be careful how spicy that you ask for it though - they are indeed spicy. I loved it though. Thank you very much - we'll definitely be back. All the best!

This is not my first visit to 9 Mary's, and each time I dine here, I am consistently impressed by the outstanding service and exceptional quality of the food. It truly is some of the most delicious Indian cuisine in Western Australia. Keep up the excellent work!

We had a really lovely time. Both the manager and young male staff member were very attentive, nice and polite. The food was amazing and the butter chicken was lovely and had a beautiful smokey flavour. We asked how they achieve this taste and it's because, while other restaurants use gas usually, Nine Mary's cook it in a proper tandoor oven, which is an expensive exercise for them, but definitely worth it for those of us who choose to eat yummy food at this lovely restaurant. As far as value for money goes, we used a Groupon voucher, so definitely worth it, but would absolutely go back regardless.

Web site has inaccurate information on it..So i had to pay more than i wanted to get a meal. Instead of Mon to Fri weekday special $20 as advertised, i had to spend $34..I thought a Mon to Fri weekday special is avilable in the evening. That is not the case. Weekday specials,are Lunchtime specials.DOH !! even though they are advertised under Weekday special..So when i turned up to purchase the Wednesday, $20 weekday special on Wednesday evening, the owner said the Website was old and out of date, and weekday specials were only available for lunch time..WTF MARY ! Total bill for basic vegie dish, Prawn Vindaloo, 2 x garlic naan and Rice for two $84...Nice food but will only go back on a very special occasion, ie my 60th in 18 months time, as price is high for what you get.

We ordered the onion bhaji, rice, chicken jalfrezi and a goan fish curry. All the meals were delicious! The right amount of spice and the meat was cooked to perfection! Everything was very tasty and filling. The cocktails were yum and well priced. Would recommend and definitely will return!

Although the staff had a hiccup with the bartender not showing up to work (which meant no cocktails). The remaining staff did all they could to make sure we got our meals quickly before seeing a show. Water on the table was not refilled, this may have been due to lack of staff also.

Some of the food was cold and the vegetarian platter was abysmal and such little food. Just because it’s vegetarian doesn’t mean you can serve a bit of lettuce and tomato and charge high prices. Won’t be going back.

I've forgotten how many times I have dined at 9 Marys but this restaurant is that good it's worth a revisit! As usual, the food & service were outstanding. This has to be one of the best restaurants in the Perth CBD.
