Passion is rife at Noggos Kitchen and Coffee. Passion for food and sourcing only the best ingredients and produce on offer. Noggos is a hidden gem, tucked away in Maylands along Peninsula Road where you’ll find Australian cafe-style classics with a distinctly ‘Noggos’ twist. For brunch, think polenta cake benedict with ham or salmon, poached eggs and kaffir lime hollandaise and for later, slow-cooked lamb shoulder with ratatouille, tzatziki, rocket and radish salad, among a plethora of other delicious dishes just begging to be sampled. This Perth spot is a bit of a local favourite though, so booking ahead is essential.
Was within walking distance and although we didn't realise it was BYO, we enjoyed great food and attentive service. The haloumi and watermelon starter was yummy and so was my pasta (although next time I would ask for it without the artichoke). My partner enjoyed his steak and it did look very nice on the plate; thinly sliced with a fine layer of sauce on a bed of mash. Venue was a bit noisy and seating could do with some cushioning.
