Chances are you’ve always wanted to visit that cosy little coffee shop from the 90s hit TV show Friends. That’s never going to happen – yes, even that Central Perk cafe in New York is a tourist-targeted imposter, as the show was filmed in L.A. – so instead make your way over to Northern Perk Cafe, one of the cosiest, coolest cafes along Brunswick’s studded Sydney Road strip. There’s street food, vegan specialities, mountainous milkshakes and burgers galore, and did we mention the coffee? This local hotspot is crazy about their premium arabica beans, and their baristas can pull espressos with the best of ‘em. Northern Perk’s setting is modern yet comfortable, the perfect spot to take a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne life. Bring along a good book or a good friend and kick back, relax and unwind with a killer coffee and some delicious food. Book ahead to beat the rush, though, especially on weekends.
It was a nice restaurant, I would say it's over hyped it was very busy and there was a 30 minute minimum wait time for food, the cups smelts funky maybe lightly rinsed instead of properly washed due to how busy they are
Good Food and Service. Friendly Staff. Would visit the cafe again and again. Advice to try their tower and Orea Shake. Go in group to enjoy more food
