Okami - Caroline Springs

We enjoyed the food we ordered and found the waitress was very helpful, friendly and with a very welcoming smiles which is good for patrons. We were so happy that we tried for the first time in Okami Japanese in Caroline Spring. Highly recommended to try and dine.

Food seem to be reduced, my favourite Japanese Pancake was taken off the menu. However other foods stil in good quality.

A regular at this Restaurant, Staff and the food are awesome, Unfortunately sometimes the noise level is extremely loud but thats something the restaurant would not be able to control.

Greeted and then seated. Our order was taken. Then we started receiving food that we didn't order but we ate it as we were hungry thinking this will get us started till our food arrives. The kids were so looking forward to the sushi and noodles which we ordered 4 times and waited just over an hour for. They kept eating rice which there was an abundance of on our table for some reason. The waitresses just place the food and go so you don't have a chance to say anything. We the adults felt so guilty to eat as our kids weren't eating. It really was chaotic on this particular night, I believe they were training new staff and orders weren't coming to the right tables. Food was yum but so unorganised.

AT the start it was very slow and our first round of food never came However after 40 minutes it was great ,the food was good quality

Price is cheap and great foods. But this time the service was very slow, need to remind the waitress about our order and food menu is changed. The picture of the food on the menu were not the same as the food that was served.

Horrible service … staff weren’t friendly… food that we ordered didn’t come .. staff forgot orders … very very bad … wouldn’t recommend it at all to any of my friends and family that’s for sure !

The food was cold, and the portions were inconsistent. The food quality definitely didn't match the price.

Waited almost an hour for most of our food. We had a very upset bday boy who waited an hour ONE HOUR for rice. We left still hungry bcos we were still missing half the food we ordered & our 3 kids were getting very upset. In the end they didn’t charge 1 of our 3 kids but we still had to go somewhere else to fill them up. Very disappointed as Okami is our kids favourite restaurant.

Food is always great but we have been to many Okami restaurants and this one has the slowest service sometimes waiting up to an hour for food and 1/2 hour for orders to be taken

Excellent food and great service. The restaurant has a great variety of dishes to choose from. I love the sashimi platter at Okami Caroline Springs. Highly recommend.

Food is freshly made and very delicious. They do have Al-acart and Buffet options. We chose Buffet. You need to order at regular intervals otherwise there is a bit of wait as they are generally busy. Wasn't quite a fan of the Dessert Fish but all in all for $37pp, it's good value. Would definitely go again.

I don't think they can handle large groups.. orders were placed at the same time but some were missed and took a very long time to come out. So people were eating at all different times.. Understandably a couple of minutes difference but 10 to 15 minutes is ridiculous.. so many servers coming to the table but it felt like you would blink yours eyes they were gone.. Constantly flagging them down.. Also just not enough room.. we were so squashed.. if you have a large group of people recommendation add extra 2 seats.. Food was not the best.. Been a few times to Okami in a two person dinning.. it was awesome large group..yeah never again..

First time at a Okami restaurant. Pleasantly surprised. I do with they offered a ‘boring’ chips side for the kids that won’t eat the food so the parents can still go.
