Amazing food like always, can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend
Very good food, timing for waiters to come up to us was perfect, and was very quick for the food to come to us after ordering.
So we mentioned that Okami Chirnside Park offers a pretty enticing all-you-can-eat menu, but what else do we love about this Melbourne Japanese restaurant? A whole lot, if we’re honest. Beginning in 2013, this group of restaurants has gone from strength to strength in recent years and shows no sign of slowing down. Quite the opposite, in fact. Their secret? Well, we think it’s a combination of things, from the stellar service to the quality of produce used, its relaxed atmosphere, stylish interior and of course, the fact that Okami Melbourne goes above and beyond to maintain an affordable price for quality dishes.
In terms of the menu, we recommend kicking things off with a few classic Okami starters. We love the teriyaki chicken skewers, pan-fried vegetable gyoza, lightly seared beef tataki (carpaccio) and the sushi and sashimi platter loaded up with a variety of fish and rolls. Then, tuck into a main of grilled squid coated in a spicy miso sauce, seafood tempura, teriyaki steak or the flavoursome udon noodles served with chicken and plenty of vegetables. Tucked away on Fletcher Road, this Chirnside Park Japanese restaurant is popular for good reason, so book a table at Okami to find out what all the fuss is about.
