Okami - Mornington

Just love it. The best food. Freshest sashimi. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Such good value. We took the family there over Easter and loved it so much we are going back tomorrow.

We were pretty disappointed with the service and in part the food. There was an obvious issue with our table not receiving food. We had to reorder our food 4 times, the staff apologised but it kept happening. We came to the conclusion that our table must not have existed on their ordering app. We were there for 1 hour and 45 and only maybe received a quarter of what we ordered. Nobody really took charge of our issue and so we left.

Had a minimum order to start with, for 3 guests in total. Took order, 25 mins later drinks and a couple of items of food arrived - of which one was incorrect Made comment to waitress - nothing changed. Made another comment to another waitress, and food came out that WASNT ours. Places another order, to replace the original order we were waiting on, again a couple of things came out straight away……and the remainder I have no idea. I got up, paid my bill, and left - never yo be seen in Okami Mornington again….and will never recommend!

Food was lovely. As soon as we sat down we were asked to order food ( hadn’t even touched the menu ) felt very rushed . Noise level was very high had trouble having a conversation with my daughter. Went to pay and they charged corkage fee for a can of coke . Would not recommend if you wanted a relaxing meal out

The food and service was good. However, the food seems to come out at the wrong order. The rice we ordered came out when we received half through our order instead of coming early.

We had to order most items 3 times to receive them, terrible service, took us almost 25 mins to get our first dish, luckily a flat rate for meal, food got wasted however due to ordering issues and subsequent duplications

been here 4 x in last 8 months, opted to book online at 17.30PM sitting, just as well it was full had 13 dishes, plus the ice cream, and few small jars of hot sake to wash it down food is good prices have increased however nice meal out

If you like loud, noisy, very fast paced delivery of your usual Japanese staples at an excellent, affordable price, then Okami is the place to go and they have a number of location spread across Melbourne. This visit was on a Friday night and service was poor, we had long waiting times for food & drinks and food orders that were forgotten. It was extremely loud. When the food did arrive it was quite good. Not all Okam's are the same.

The food is great. You can order food depending on how big the portion you like. There are 10 of us so we ordered big plates for our choice of food.

Definitely the best Okami we've been to. Particularly the service which was a cut above the rest.. the staff were super friendly, absolutely on the ball and genuinely keen to help. The food was really nice, I can't help but want for something a little less greasy though, the majority of dishes are pretty oily. The Soba noodles and steamed veg cut through it a bit though. The price is right at the point where I'd only visit occasionally, rather than it be a regular. Really happy with our visit, we'll be back.
