I have been to this establishment multiple times and am always disappointed and frustrated by the service. After placing an order is can and often does get forgotten or given to another table, and when enquiring about our order, told "I don't know what is coming out, I just serve the food" It appears to me each table, or two tables, should have their own waiter who coordinates each table's food and therefore can check off what has been ordered ensuring what has been ordered has been received. Not just waiters going to every table which is why they don't know what they are serving out.

Good food. Good service. Seats at tables are low and uncomfortable. I didn't really relax as it was brightly lit and noisy. 7/10.

We enjoyed the food and the speed it all came out, though staggered, was pretty fast. The sashimi and sushi was good and the teriyaki steak was tender. The kids loved the seaweed salad and squid salad, which was a pleasant surprise. The fried rice tasted better than was pictured on the menu. The staff were also friendly and efficient too. Overall we had a good time.

Not very busy, most people had left as we had a late booking. It wasn't noisy & service was pretty good.

All the dishes we had were great, except for one dish, the beef strip with sesame seeds sprinkled on it. The dish had been sitting on the pass for quite a few minutes and had got cold, the meat was also very chewy and greasy. However this will not stop me from visiting again, I just won’t order that meal again. Overall we had a great time and will recommend Okami as a great restaurant.

Why do we have to ask for the bento box menu. Why is if hidden away. The bento boxes were all delicious

Being one of the first in there the service was great however we ordered a lot for 4 but it came out so quickly one on top of the other resulting in some of the hot food was nearly cold by the time we got to eat it. Service by Cat was fantastic he could not do enough for us. Overall quite happy with the experience.

We have been there a few times before and overall, the dining experience was very good. Good food, good variety, good and friendly service. Great value for money. I have only two complaints. One is that the corkage fee ($10) for a BYO bottle is over the top and secondly it was very noisy. Far too noisy for comfortable dining. Probably won't be going again until we know that the noise problem has been addressed.

Overall we had a great night, it was very busy being a Friday night though so was very noisy at times - totally worth it though, the food is amazing.

Food was nice. Wait service was a bit slow had to wave at staff a few times. Old fashioned and want to see presentable staff without piercings and smart presentation.

Tables were wobbly and a pain to sit at, initial service was slow although once order was taken meals came out fairly quick.

The food was delicious. Wait time was a bit long to be served. I had to go and ask if a waiter/waitress would come and take our order. Everything else was really great. Will come back again.

It's always a delicious experience & friendly staff. The only negative is the sound. When full in the restaurant it gets incredibly noisy & hard to hear each other talk. If they could fix that it would be perfect.

Enjoyed this special occasion at Okami, our go to venue for such nights. Most eateries now allow you to split the bill at the register. Each couple pays for their own food and drink, thus clearing the account. Their current method is time consuming and unnecessary.

We dined with 5 twelve year olds and it was a fantastic experience. Great service, friendly and very patient. The food was delicious

Service was extremely slow and it was not busy. Maybe 40% capacity. 30 minutes before someone took our drink order. And everytime we ordered dishes of food it took ages for it to be brought out in drips and drabs. 1 bowl of steam rice took 20 minutes. The food was lovely as always.

The food was sometimes not hot, barely warm. And not everything that’s meant to be crisp, was. (Not the first time) Service was fairly quick the staff happy to serve.

It was our first time at Okami and we were blown away, by both the food and the cost. Great value for money. The staff were lovely and the service timed perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!
