Have had several meals at Oyster beds at various times, weekends and weekdays, I normally just have the oysters which are OK but not as good as the previous owners. This week I paid $49 for surf n turf, steak was small and tougher than leather. My wife had the fish n chips, why restaurant's use Barramundi is beyond me, it's always soft and mushy with a muddy taste, there are better fish in the ocean! Her chips could have done with more time in the fryer also. The staff are great, there are good drink options and the outlook is very good, they do have great entertainment on the weekends, it's just the food is a major letdown.

We had a great experience for our wedding anniversary. We were given a bottle of bubbly which was so kind of Stacey (she was absolutely amazing). I ordered the Atlantic oysters but was served the French - I ask another waitress if they were the Atlantic and she said yes (but they were the French - I couldn’t eat these being intolerant to onions but husband loved them). The prawns were a bit mushy but the scallops and steak were absolutely amazing!! Great atmosphere and really wonderful staff. Thank you we had a lovely night

Loved the venue. Scallops were overcooked, no one cleared our table. Won't rush back. I'll take my money elsewhere, unfortunately. My dining partner had had a great experience a few weeks earlier. Lack of consistency.

I liked the menu and prices better when was the oyster bar, food and beer prices have gone way up in price by comparison, i don't think we will be in a hurry to come back.
