As much of Australia well knows, PappaRich is the place to enjoy Malaysian delights in a setting inspired by the cafes of, well, Malaysia. At every PappaRich restaurant the aim is to give diners a true taste of Malaysian culture and cuisine, hence the menu is packed full of all the vibrancy, booming flavour and colour you’d expect from a restaurant of this kind. You’ll find this particular PappaRich inside Carousel on Cannington’s Albany Highway, a very well-known spot across all of Perth and somewhere definitely worth heading armed with a reservation.

Fantastic food and service. Food was served quick and tasty. Portions are big. Big choices from the menu. Will definitely be back again. Well done papparich.
It was the CNY special Nasi lemak price is $10- it was delicious and so good value for money! The matcha red bean drink and Papparich ice kachang was also welcoming in such warm weather.
Like the culture in the country itself, Malaysian cuisine is wonderfully varied and makes use of pretty much every herb and spice on the spectrum, and this is exactly what you can expect from the menu at this, the Carousel branch of PappaRich. Dishes are inspired by or cooked according to traditional recipes, and from nasi lemak right through to the laksa broths and zingy satays, everything is laced with quality. Such high quality combined with exceptional service means you’re in for a treat when you dine here on Perth’s Albany Highway.
To give you a brief rundown of the menu, the Carousel branch of PappaRich offers dim sum, authentic and well-loved noodle and rice dishes, indulgent roti, satay and plenty of big plates to share. We’d be here all day if we tried to list all of our menu favourites, but you’d certainly be wise to try Pappa’s signature dishes, specifically the fiery curry laksa, the biryani with sambal eggplant, fried chicken and sambal prawns, as well as the hearty roti canai. Finish up with a curious but completely delicious ice kacang and you’ll see quite clearly why PappaRich is so popular not just in Perth, but all of Australia!
