Paprika Club Indian Restaurant is a popular spot. Among curry lovers of Mount Hawthorn and elsewhere in suburban Perth, it’s known very well for being the complete package when it comes to Indian dining. The restaurant is quite large, decorated in such a way that you don’t feel as though it’s trying too hard. And the same can be said of the staff, as it happens. They’re attentive and will go above and beyond, but not in a way that ever feels like they’re over-pestering. Onto the food, and contrary to the name, in this part of Perth there is far more than just paprika going into the Indian dishes on the menu. You’ll find plenty of curry house classics, of course, as well some Paprika Club creations that the people of Mount Hawthorn are lucky to have such easy access to. Some of our favourites include the Goan fish curry that’s fiery hot and involves lots of coriander and coconut, as well as the saag beef complete with shredded spinach and mustard leaves.
