Nice atmosphere. The menu was different to the one on line and there weren’t many vegan options. Maybe 3 all up? There wasn’t anything vegan for dessert either. I would have chosen a different restaurant for dinner if I’d have known this.

Food was great and service got better ..as it was very busy when we arrived at 7.30. Food was fresh, tasty and well priced given generous servings for most dishes.We had 2 serves of sate chicken between 4 of us as entree then a green chicken curry beef pad thai and combo seafood in chilli bean curd paste with 1 roti and 2 plain steamed rice..to share. It was just right amount of food for 4. The waitress was attentive even though it was a very busy night. We'll definitely be back ..but next time we'll try upstairs as downstairs was pretty noisy.

Loved it- a Chapel St icon we used to visit 20 years ago and is almost exactly the same.

In the past I’ve raved about this restaurant and recommended it to so many people as everything about it is so great. However, after being kicked out of the restaurant when it was nowhere near full and not being informed of this so called ‘rule’ prior to ordering, I will never be returning. My friends and I were kicked out of the restaurant for ordering a meal that was too ‘cheap’ and had to pay a $20 fee per person for doing so, as we didn’t want to pay the fee because our meal added up to very far below that figure we were made to leave without being able to finish our food. An absolute disgrace.

It was My mother in law's 79 birthday and the first time for most of us. Light were too dim to read the menu . We had to use light from our phones. Menu cards were too old presented. They wanted to give us a floor seating for a 79 year old! I thank though..they helped and changed to a normal table so appreciate the effort on this although we had to wait long. My mother in law had to wait standing up and the bench was too uncomfortable. Needs cushions. The food was average. It was noisy upstairs.
