Paula's Cafe

Pretty much anyone will argue that nobody makes something better than their mother or grandma, but around Wolli Creek you may well hear more often than not that nobody does pancakes as fluffy and delicious as Paula. The Paula in question is that of Paula’s Cafe on Arncliffe Street, not far from Wolli Creek train station and Cahill Park, just across the river from Sydney Airport. Paula’s Cafe is known for a lot more than pancakes, with baked eggs, French toast, smoked salmon omelette and the awesome halloumi delight with avocado and mushroom just a few favourites from the breakfast menu, while open melts on Turkish bread, beautiful burgers (including vegetarian) and a range of vibrant salads reveal themselves once lunch rolls around. Paula’s Cafe has delicious coffee, too, and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. Whichever way you slice it, Paula’s Cafe is one of Wolli Creek’s best bets when it comes to cafes – just book a table before you go, because it does fill up quickly!
