The petite mort is the feeling that comes directly after, well, this is a family table reservation platform, and while we can’t promise that you’ll get such a feeling at Petite Mort in Perth, we can promise you a meal of orgiastic tendencies. The language of the name gives them away: they’re a French restaurant, and they specialise in food from that country, although they add an international twist to their fare. If you take a trip to Shenton Park and Onslow Road, you’ll be indulged with a menu of French favourites with a global outlook: begin with a cured salmon, served with ginger, kombucha and wasabi sorbet and follow it up with goat tenderloin with garlic, potato and radicchio or lamb with aubergine, olive and petit vegetables. There are desserts and cheese too, and a wine list that shows the best of Australia and France, so book a table at Petite Mort on Onslow Road for a French restaurant in Perth that is well worth a visit.
Awesome meal as always - the food was divine and staff were amazing! Great Christmas tradition with our friends. Will be back!
Beautiful meal and beautiful cosy restaurant. Excellent wines, great service. A fabulous place for a very romantic night. We look forward to our next visit
Great food, poor service, limited wine menu and lacklustre ambience. The staff were very snooty if you didn’t do the degustation menu - and were reluctant to advise of other options.
