About Poboy Cajun & Creole

Get a taste of the Louisiana bayou down at Poboy Cajun & Creole. From crawdaddy boils to fried shrimp, jambalaya and of course the classic po’ boy, this American restaurant knows a thing or two about how to make comfort food, and their seafood specialties are second to none. Found down Coolangatta’s Marine Parade, just steps from Rainbow Bay and the Tweed River, Poboy Cajun & Creole is a perfect location for visitors travelling in from all over the Gold Coast. Go for a classic po’ boy – that’s a traditional Louisiana-style sandwich packed with Southern fried seafood, chicken, beef or vegetables – or chow down on some jambalaya or gumbo and you’ll feel just as if you’ve stepped into New Orleans during Mardis Gras. 6 of us ate at your restaurant last night, 5 of us greatly enjoyed our meals, however one of our party was most upset. She ordered a steak. The steak was tough even tho it was cooked to her liking. She could not cut it with an ordinary table knife so I asked one of the two boys for a steak knife. His reply was 'we don't have any' and that was it. As we were leaving we asked for a doggy bag to take the steak home for her do to eat.
