It was okay. Didn't have any standouts. Felt like we had better Indonesian food in the area.

The whole restaurant smells as they have kitchen at the front with no exhaust fan working properly. They kept frying stuff and that made it worse :( Food is just ok. Not that good quality unfortunately :(

Pondok Rempah has very authentic and tasty Indonesian food at reasonable prices.

Based on the rating and the Halal certification I decided to give the place a go. Service was Good, the place looked clean and tidy. the food wasn’t mind-blowing for me to want to go again but it was fresh and good. If I am in the area and hungry I would pop in for meal but I wouldn’t probably navigate my way just to visit the resturant for a meal. Overall, if your in the area and feeling like Indonesian food or looking for a Halal certified resturant then this could be the spot

A small with delicious food and friendly service. The Assam Pedas Fish Char Kway Teow and Ayam Penyet Bumbu are highly recommended. Will come back again.

Great food as always. Fried ox tail was delicious and the soto betawi was flavorful. Pity they ran out of goreng pisang though. Would highly recommend to come back

I ordered IGA Bakar Sapi Penyet and the marinated beef ribs were tender and very tasty. I think the 2 pcs of cucumber and cabbage is a little too stingy. I would recommend others to try this place it's worth the value.

Food was awesome. I'm Indonesian and the foods are tasty, good job. For me the portion is so big, but I think it's actually a fair portion for others. Good place to go.
