Best pecking duck I have ever tried so far . I think it’s better than the ones in Beijing.
The peking duck is delicious and beautifully presented. The pancakes are just the right thickness.
Peking duck set met our expectation. However, the menu said steam and fried buns had 6 pieces. In fact, it only had 6 “half” pieces. $16 for 3 whole buns was extremely overpriced. Won’t visit this restaurant again.
their infamous signature Beijing ducks are a must when visiting this place.
Food was below average but expensive, service is better than food.
we had a very pleasant time , services were good an attentive
Head waiter curiously off-hand and assumed that whites wouldn't want spicy food. The food however excellent and much improved over previous owners, especially the Peking Duck, quite the best I've had.
It was very nice to have the old manager serve us, very communicable and accomodating. The food however, quality isn’t as good as it used to be, such a shame
Good service but food was not as good as expected
High quality food, with high expense, as expected. Overall good for occasions
duck was cooled before serving. slicing proportion was more meat with little skin, whereas would have preferred the other way round. not many vegetable dishes choice. one out of the few entree on menu was not available either.
We ordered a half duck, that was fine for 2 adults. The duck was served on a heated plate but was not really hot. Taste was good, not to oily but also not crispy. By and large Ok, but without a WOW effect you would expect from a specialized restaurant.
The dining environment is cozy and tidy. The food is authentic and very delicious.
waited quite a long time for any food to arrive. all the rest was very good
Not as tasty as previous visits. Long wait to be served and really small portion for other dishes.
The food is lovely but the service is very poor. We had one vegetarian with us and her meal was taking forever. Eventually they confessed that they did not have the ingredients but no apology no thought of trying to make something similar. We will never go back
Great as always. Best taste from Beijing. This is the most authentic one
They changed the menu and I guess they also changed the chief and I prefer the previous one.
Service was great and food was amazing. Could do with child change table in female toilet and pram access to restaurant.
The food was good, altho after we sat down, they told me the wait for a peking duck was an hour. They didnt potentially gave us nibblies while we waited altho we were still waiting for our peking duck even after we have finished our mains. The service was slow and the restaurant was not at full capacity. We pay $180 for 2 of us which was not a quick cheap meal.
Great pecking duck, very nice snow crab goose pate, friendly staff.
The food was delicious and service excellent. A beautiful restaurant. Expensive but worth it.

Good food and good service - Happy that I found it
This was an excellent dining experience. Sometimes Quanjude lets itself down by using completely inexperienced waiting staff, but this time we had the attention of the "head man", who knows the food. We were the only non-Chinese in the place, the food (especially the Peking Duck, for which Quanjude is known) was great, the wine list is surprisingly good (if conventional), and we weren't rushed at all. More people should try Quanjude, and the restaurant should continue to focus on good service.
Peking Duck was Delicious! Downside was we were only informed after 30min that two dishes we ordered were unavailable. It was very busy so maybe staff not as well informed...
Sub par. Waited an hour for our food . When questioned were given cold entrees that were actually very tasty in the house. Ordered Peking duck that arrived chopped up in a dish like a roast duck and rice eating house. Was told that the wait was because only one oven was operational . I asked why the duck wasn’t carved at the table an d was told that the chef was sick . Magically a chef arrived and served a duck After the complaint. Likewise the chef continued to do so for all the other tables after that . the evening forvery rude .
The food is very nice and we’ve been there many times already.
Poor food quality and service in comparison to franchise in China
Food was average, service was okay, place was dirty and not well maintained.
Service was terrible the Peking duck was flavourless would not recommend this place
We booked ahead so didn't have to wait for a table. The ducks were as yummy as always. Part of the reason we chose this place was the atmosphere, where we could talk and socialise without shouting. The staff we had that night was attentive and explained the different choices of dealing with the duck carcasses, which no one told us until then. They took allergy advice seriously.
Booked online only to arrive at restaurant to be told they can't accommodate us because they were booked out. Even though majority of tables were empty
The staff were friendly and the service was great. The entree was lovely. The Peking Duck was Excellent.
Visiting Melbourne as a tourist and knowing that there is a 全聚德 here, it is a must-try.
Reliable Peking duck in the CBD. Service could be improved. Needed to ask for extra sauce, tea etc. multiple times.
There are 3 of us n we order a whole duck it was yummy n the price here is cheaper than Sydney . Wait staff was helpful n polite
Not authentic, worst than I expected. Will not come back again
Horrible. Am a regular customer but am not coming back. - food slow. Peking duck dish last to come out. Their excuse was there was no enough duck - fish came out undercooked. - they could not even figure out how much my total meal was. Nearly charged me an extra $100. And dared to ask if I wanted to tip them. As far as I’m concerned, I’m never going back and would not recommend
Nice ambient and food (especially the Peking Duck)!Good for dinner!
Amazingly great food. Highly recommend. Will come back soon!!! Magnificent.
food is delicious .a bit of waiters are very helpful.
We have had dinner at Quanjude a number of times now. Consistently good peking duck as well as other dishes especially the wagyu beef. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Melbourne.
The food was good and the service was friendly and helpful
Roast duck was delicious and service was good. Overall my exprience was nice.
Very very disappointed with services and food!!! never want come back again@@@
A big disappoint for the food and services, such waste for the money and time.
