Came based on the high Zomato rating. The roast duck was ok, perhaps the cut I had wasn’t the tastiest and fattiest. Quick and efficient service.
Enjoyed a serve of roast duck with egg noodles soup with Chinese greens for a late lunch. Delicious and still considered one of the restaurants that’s serves the best roast duck in Melbourne.
Food is very delicious. Good value for money. The boss and a staff in particular is very friendly. Will visit again.
Great duck and pork. Great squid and soup. Will be back!
Great food. Very busy. It's BYO but you can purchase a small range of soft drinks.
I have stopped frequenting Roast Duck Inn for some time for good reason as I have found the quality of it’s staple product of roast duck and barbecue meats have fallen below previous expectations. The char siu pork was dry on this instant and so was the roast duck.
Excellent meals good as usual get busy on weekends must come in 5-7 pm very busy
Yummy food & quick service. Will go back for more.👍
Really enjoyed the food here. Everything was mouthwatering and quick service.
Can't go wrong with the roast duck on rice, absolute killer.
Had the roast duck on rice. Not enough words to describe how delicious it was.
Loved the food . The service was most professional. Atmosphere was to experience. very comfortable ambience.. We will return. Allan & Pamela James
Can't go wrong with the roast duck on rice. Super juicy and tasty.
Came here for the roast meats. Always tasty and freshly cooked.
Mouth watering succulent roast meats. So many choices and food comes out quick.
Dropping by for a quick lunch of roast duck and egg noodle soup is always satisfying.
The food is very nice and the drinks are too. I think the service is great!
Fantastic roast meat choices. Tasty food and comes out quick.
Convenient, fast, delicious, comfort food and always satisfying any time
This place is def a favourite. Melt in the mouth roasts.
Back again for more delicious barbecue pork with noodle soup.
Even if you book through Quando they don’t appear to reserve a table under your name
cant go wrong here. Just many good choices and tasty food.
Good place to come for Chinese food. They serve some tasty roast meats too. Lots of menu choices and the service is quick. Will be back
What a feast! Large range of options on their menu to choose from. Don't go past the roast meats. Food comes out quick and is tasty.
Always enjoyed coming here. This place is like a traditional hk restaurant. No frills, tasty food and generous portions. Lots of choices and food comes quick.
Best duck ever! We ate so much, we nearly popped. Juicy & flavourful with the most perfect skin. We will most definitely return! Perfect with the Martinborough Pinot we BYO'd
Always a good feed here. Lots of choices available from the menu, but the roasts are a winner. The service is quick and good portion sizes.
Really enjoy coming here for a bite to eat. Everything is cooked fresh and there are some really mouth watering HK style roast meats here.
I sense there has been a change in the chefs at Roast Duck Inn. Two of the dishes ordered were totally incorrect as they came out individually. My order of roast duck and rice appeared rather poor with soggy rice and near to meatless duck comprising of bones. Within eight hours I believe I came down with food poisoning. Enough said.
Always a pleasure coming here for a bite to eat. The roasts are super tasty and moreish. Lots of other options on their menu too.
Dining later appears a better option and ordering your Roast Duck with rice is also a bonus compared with ordering it with noodle soup.
Delicious roast duck, barbecue pork, roast crackling pork, soy chicken plus more. Take away or eat in. Before you leave take home some frozen packets of dim sum of your favourite variety to snack on by just steaming them when required.
Excellent chicken roast cracking pork fantastic duck great soup. Seafood dishes fantastic dim sims and other delights Great small table of one or ten or more It busy book ahead
Lovely meal great roast duck and roast roast bbq pork fantastic stuff Japanese tufu and prawn and other dishes noodle and hotpots rice noodles and various meats seafoods **********
Dining later after 8pm proved to be a better option on Saturday evenings as most of the larger family tables had vacated from an earlier sitting. A delicious meal of steamed scallops with XO sauce and garlic with vermicelli, fried rice with shrimp and roast duck, followed by stuffed prawns with Japanese silken tofu and shiitake mushrooms were all mouth watering and satisfied two hungry diners.
You really can't go wrong coming here to eat. They have a large menu, so plenty of options to choose from and everything is tasty.
Saturday nights attracts large tables of eight or more with tables of families or friends out for dinner. Advised to make reservations ahead of time. Busy with queues at the door.
Be adventurous and try the crocodile dish, fried taro duck and other special dishes that are posted on the wall with images of the dish rather than items on the printed menu.
Great food, we loved the eggplant. Plenty of people interested in a meal- but our group was well looked after. Best bit- roast duck or pork belly with your own wine.
