Always a pleasure to have dinner at Roberto’s. Ambience is excellent and the food terrific.

The food was ok.. clearly had better in the US especially Portland. We did not have time to dress up due to flights etc. They initially seated us by the door and then asked us to move to accommodate a handicapped customer,. They did not seat a handicap person at that table,. Staff seemed on edge and the host was disrespectful to other younger staff. Food not worth the price or poor treatment by the staff.

We had a wonderful night. It was our wedding anniversary and we went out for a quiet dinner. Lovely food and wonderful service. They even put us in a booth that I requested on booking. Thank you!!

Everything was very good. It was our first visit and had seen the piano while passing by one day and were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the pianist wasn't performing that evening. Service was great, Roberto was very welcoming and a fantastic host. Piano inconvenience aside, we had an excellent evening. We will definitely be back and have already told our friends that it is worth the trip across the river!

Had big sister visiting from Sydney, wanted to get a small group together, dress up and have a night to remember. We chose Roberto's on Bennett. Very elegant decor, attentive service and the meal was divine!

Roberto's is a great restaurant ,the food was delicious. we all loved our meals. Highly recommend the slow cooked lamb shoulder. We will be back in the new year

Good experience, the food was nice but my wifes white wine was not very cold and my red wine was a bit tart. All in all very good

This was our first visit since Cafe Italia closed and the new restaurant opened. We had the Special of the day which was the Risoto and it was amazing. We loved the whole experience. Thankyou Shane & Rachael

This restaurant is classy to look at but the food was terrible. We ordered 1 plate of pasta vongele, the pasta was raw, when my partner pointed this out, she was told that's how it's cooked. My partner is Italian, she knows the difference between al dente and raw. I ordered gnocchi arrabiata, I got one layer of gnocchi on an 8 inch plate (about 15 gnocci) and about the same quantity of matchstick sized sausage. Both dishes were greatly over- salted. My apple pie was edible but my partner's lemon meringue was completely tastless. Two glasses of house wine cost $36. The total bill was $217.00. We won't be going back even though it's just down the road from where we live.

Sad to se the end of Cafe Italia, but fantastic to see a new beginning in Roberto's on Bennet. When our family eats there, we feel we are at home. Its a definite favourite for sure! By the way - try the Gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce - Its amazing!
