Salt Meats Cheese - Drummoyne

Enjoyed our evening up to the point we asked for coffee at 9pm and were told "the coffee machine is closed". The restaurant is supposed to be open till 10pm. We were not offered coffee prior to staff "closing the coffee machine".

Would have liked the cheese wheel pasta to become more of an exciting feature/experience. Simply putting it in the middle of the room or showing the process at the table to see it being made would enhance this experience. The waiter Simon was amazing, though.

Food was great, service was perfect too, have eaten here for dinner 2 nights in a row, was very pleased both visits.

Hi, food was great, but service is always far too quick to clear away plates before everyone is finished their food. Just wait till everyone is finished before clearing plates !!!!

Slow service, had to get the waiters attention. Pretty happy with the food - simple Italian done well.

Very expensive for average food. They've changed the menu, not a lot of options.

Went with a large group - great food, great vibe and great service. They were quite busy so had some mistakes on the bill and also a couple of items took a while to arrive but overall very good and fresh!!

Food very tasty but mains menu was a bit limited. Serving size for pasta was a bit skimpy.

excellent, service was great food great prices good but serving sizes were a little on the small side for the cost I felt. but everything fresh and tasty. there was a little confusion with the wait staff when we first arrived as we were not shown to our table we were just shown where our table was.... but all sorted out without too much fuss.

Another great night at Salt Meats Cheese in Drummoyne. We came in with a large group and the service was great, the food was great and we had a fantastic time. Definitely some of the best pizza I have had!

Really delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Good wine choices and cocktails too.

Pasta was terrible, tasted like wax. Completely slipped over on the slippery floor (my friend slipped twice), told them and they didn’t care. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Definitely worth booking table ahead. Great table service and incredible quality woodfired pizzas. Truffle fries are must! Coffees were a little slow but awesome coffee!

Bring cheese wheel pasta back! Food was good. Although staff didn’t seem very happy

We dined at Salt Meats Cheese the first time to try the cheese wheel pasta special, while this dish was delicious, although very rich, the table service was sub standard. We had to ask for the wine order to be taken, the hostess could not explain the special to us and we were forgotten about when we wanted to order dessert, overall we were pretty much ignored. We also ordered two pizzas, the prawn pizza lacked flavour while the prosciutto pizza had the bonus of a flavour hit from the cold cut but the bases were not puffy or crunchy and slightly under cooked. With so many other great pizza restaurants in Sydney we will have to give SMC Drummoyne a miss in the future.

Abbiamo mangaito discretamente, il piatto dei formaggi era molto gradevole alla vista ma uno dei formaggi doveva essere un po`vecchio e non era molto buono. Anche le porzioni non erano abbondanti.

Best Pizza we have had in a long time, the base was so light and the fresh ingredients made it so delicious, we will be back for sure, quick service and a friendly smile made for a nice dinner.
