We love Italian food and often cook it at home. I am a good cook so when we eat out I am looking for an exceptional experience and dining at Saltimboka was just that- tasty food, polite and friendly service, good selection of wine, pleasant atmosphere and a elegant surroundings.

We have eaten here many times. The food and service are always of the highest standard. This is, in our opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Bayside.

Its always a bit noisy, but I expect that now. After all,​ it is an Italian restaurant. Food and service are worth it.

Could do with a few changes to the menu, it hasn't changed since I first visited the restaurant five years ago. The food is delicious though and the staff are always excellent.

The home made Tortellini main courses tonight, were a little overcooked and not Al Dente as it is normally. Maybe because they were very busy.

I love this restaurant but last night it seemed like they forgot to cook a steak dish. We had a party of 6 and one didn’t get their dish until we had all finished ours. I would think twice about going back now I think it only reasonable to offer a free drink or coffee to the table when big stuff ups like that happen but they gladly took all our money and didn’t offer anything. Very disappointed

The quality of the food and service was extremely amazing, however the quantity of the mains were quite low so I recommend to get a few starters.

Consistent good quality food with an emphasis on full flavour like Nonna intended. The only fault would be the portion sizes could be a little larger, say two mouthfuls.

The food is outstanding. Great choice excellent presentation and professional service. The wine list gives a great choice of local and Italian wines. Best dishes cauliflower in Gorgonzola sauce also calimari

The food at Saltimbocca was brilliant and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. It felt like authentic Italian food and we couldn't have picked a better place for our Christmas Eve dinner!

The food was delicious and service was attentive and polite. We highly recommend the restaurant the seafood risotto was exceptional and the tiramisu was a perfect end.

My wife and I really enjoyed the classic Italian flavours we tasted last night. We had the Scallop Risotto and the King Prawn Spaghetti complimented with a bottle of the Dead Duck Pinot Noir 2016. We will be back.

This restaurant is a combination of a classy layout and romantic dim lighting which will appeal to many, and an overall superb fine dining experience. The flavours in every bite were to savour, and the presentation of each dish was above-average. Finished the meal off with a refreshing lemon sorbet and a coffee which really hit the spot. Highly recommend this suburban gem!
