Definitely wouldn't recommend, service from some staff members was absolutely non existent, meals where very small portions and definitely not value, seating and decor very ordinary and could do with a revamp. Very disappointing dining experience 😔

This was our visit to this local restaurant and will now become our regular. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly and we both really enjoyed our meals. The dishes were fresh, light and really tasty. Well done to Chris and the team.

Serranos used to be amazing but what we had tonight was so disappointing. Had to ask to get my order taken after waiting ages, I was told yep after I clear this table first. There was only 3 other tables that had people at them, so wasn’t busy. Lots of stuff wasn’t available that was on the menu which we didn’t know till we went to order it. Wanted to charge me extra to substitute my child meal because his choices were limited due to their shortages. I would have to buy a whole bowl of chips because they are already weighted out. So buy the kids meal to get the crumbed beef but serve with rice etc instead of some chips that he would have got with the nuggets and chips if they were available, No compromise at all. Should have just left at that point but we had been waiting for so long that we were super hungry. Meals were tiny and nothing like the good old favs we used to get. Most of the meat on the dish were dry and overcooked. Do not waste or your money as it was expensive

The staff were very busy, but so friendly, the food was great would be back.

Having visited the restaurant many times we were prepared for the hard seats to sit on so took comfy cushions. I would suggest that the hard wooded seats have a foam covered with "Mexican" style material. We would not stay very long sitting on the hard seats.

The food was delicious and authentic and the service was great and prompt, all the staff were so friendly 😃

It's still a good place to eat but the sizes of dishes has got a lot smaller but price is still the same we use to go to Serranos every Friday but since new management we go elsewhere only for bigger sized meals

Food is excellent, service friendly and prompt, surroundings somewhat lacking.

Unfortunately the Fajitas were supposed to be "sizzling" plate which was not the case. Food cooled down before completion of eating. For $50 I would prefer the food to be sizzling hot as in previous cases. Spider drink only had one very small scoop of ice cream (instead of reasonable scoop) with a can of coke for $8 that was expensive. It would be more comfortable to have some cushioning on the seats. 2 hours sitting on hard wood was not good.

10/10 So fantastic and can’t stop coming ! is our new favourite ! Food is so fresh and great serving sizes. Favourite item on menu is the pork flautus!!! Always great service and the chef and wife led team are fantastic! Don’t forget to get a frozen margarita so so good !!!!
