Sezar in the Melbourne CBD specialises in Armenian and Middle Eastern cuisine and is the brainchild of chef Garen Maskal and his cousins Aret and Sasoon. Tucked away down the Melbourne Place laneway, this lively and chic restaurant has been carefully designed with low hanging lights, wooden furnishings and each dish in this intimate restaurant comes beautifully presented and made using fresh, high quality ingredients, herbs and spices. Expect to find dishes along the lines of cured ocean trout with fennel, apple and sumac salad, lamb shoulder, duck boreg with lemon labneh and smoked chicken. With a range of mezza, small and large dishes, as well as delicious desserts, there’s a whole lot to love about Sezar Melbourne. Book a table now!
we went with a vegetarian 'feed me' menu. overall, the food was good, but i wouldn't say any of it was particularly memorable. i don't think i said 'wow' to anything. i wasn't disappointed, but for a restaurant of this calibre and with such a large variety of food, i was surprised nothing knocked my socks off.
Excellent service, delicious food, warm atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner venue.
Love the food love the service love the atmosphere....can’t fault anything
