We love this place, the food is great, staff are friendly and the beautiful views.

This is one of the wineries not too fat from Melbourne that we like going back, the food, wine and service are outstanding

Slow service. Long delay to Oder Long Time between corses Too much draft on cool day. Doors required to be constantly shut as staff left them open. Would only come back during week. Food good

First weekend of trading after COVID-19 lockdown. Very welcoming staff and generally worked well. Obviously menu was restricted and peak wait times were a too long. But staff and owner were aware of problems and offered complimentary drink and dessert as compensation. Food quality and service standards were very good. Very good quality and variety of local wines - many available by the glass. Would definitely recommend for small groups or couples.

We had a wonderful lunch at Steels Gate. Food was amazing; Blanc de Blanc and Rose so good; staff warm and friendly. Highly recommend and they open for dinner on Saturday night too. Will be back very soon.

I mean, ANYONE who visits this winery will completely understand why it's so amazing. Boutique, super friendly, kind and warm owners and service, the food is divine, the people are divine and wine........ obviously, divine :) We'll be back for sure - our new favourite of the YV!

We had a great lunch at Steels Gate, the food and wine were very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely highly recomend going out for a meal. They also have their COVID-19 processes well worked out.

The food was excellent - the duck salad was so good that I wanted another portion for dessert.... then I tried the dessert heaven. Brad, Matt along with the staff made the experience providing excellent and friendly service. Looking forward to heading back for another lunch
