A must try Indian restaurant - give it a go!

Four of us shared a delightful evening at Stonewater. The vegetarian share platter for entrees was great value, well presented and all delicious! Our mains arrived in good time and were generous and very tasty. Great surroundings, polite and pleasant wait staff.

We celebrated our son’s 11th birthday at Stonewater Indian Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion. A special thanks to Raj, our waitress, for her friendly service and excellent guidance through the menu — she helped us choose the best dishes, and we loved every bite. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine and great hospitality!

I have been there half a dozen times now. I find service is great people are very friendly and the food is great.

We ordered the Stonewater Mixed Platter for three which included paneer tikka, tandoori chicken, prawns and vegetable bhajji. The platter was generous and well prepared, with each item bringing its own flavour to the table. The Chicken 65 was less impressive as it did not reflect the authentic South Indian taste, but this was balanced by the quality of the tandoori roti and the chicken madras which were both well cooked and satisfying. The drinks were another highlight. The chilli mango and the lychee mojito were well balanced, refreshing and complemented the meal beautifully. To complete the evening, we were served a complimentary dessert of gulab jamun cheesecake with ice cream and mango purée. This was outstanding, with the richness of the cheesecake pairing beautifully with the sweetness of the gulab jamun and the freshness of the mango.

Delicious authentic food served with flair and panache. The pani puri is a must! I think nerve been there 5 times and I will going back!

WE enjoyed the food but a number of items we ordered from 2 different bottles of wine, the duck and the mussels were not available on the night The reason we were given was they were in the process of changing menus

Stylish decor, polite and efficient service, extensive menu and nice tasting food.

The food was good but the service was shocking. When I arrived, nobody seemed aware of my booking. I was told to have a seat while they checked on it and the guy never came back. After 10 minutes another waitress walked past and I asked her to seat us. Halfway through our meal we ordered another drink, which we eventually cancelled as we finished our meal and dessert and still no drink. They did give us a 10% discount but when we paid firstly forgot to give the discount. It seemed very disorganised and like none of the staff spoke to each other to know what’s going on.

This was our first visit, but it won't be our last. We were very impressed with everything; the staff were very friendly and helpful; the presentation of the food was of a very high standard and all food was delicious. A great restaurant and good value for money.
